Officials from the Biden Administration are working to give the World Health Organization the power to unilaterally declare a health emergency in any country, thereby giving them emergency powers. The message from the administration and the vote are going unreported by the heritage media, but former Congressman Michele Bachmann is working hard at sounding the alarm.
BACHMANN: “BIGGEST GLOBAL POWER GRAB IN OUR LIFETIMES”
Bachmann has stated that the upcoming vote in Geneva over the Biden Administration’s amendments would cede U.S. sovereignty to the WHO over national healthcare decisions in what she described as “the biggest global power grab that we have seen in our lifetimes...”

As I understand it - this is a treaty which went through congress and was signed by the president - and it gives them the right to make changes. However, congress can refuse to accept these changes within six months (just after new elections but before anyone is seated).
If true - - this is going to be interesting . . .
If this is indeed true, if a lockdown dictated by a foreign entity is enforced by US law enforcement, every one of the enforcers becomes a legitimate target.
Treaties are made to be broken.
I wonder if the U.N. would throw us out, if we said "no thanks" and told them to go perform unnatural acts on a rolling doughnut? Well I can only hope...
There is a price to be paid for treason!
What color helmets does the WHO enforcers wear?
Asking for a friend.
I never do, but this is a mid-term election year and I doubt the Senate could get 6 Republican cross-over votes. Yes, there's always the mitt/murk/colons trio - that's only 3. I also believe not all 50 Dims would vote for this. I see at most 40 socialist/commie types voting in favor.
Also, unless I'm wrong, the VP can only break a tie at 50-50. She would have no vote if the final was 65 Senators in favor, short of the 66 needed. I even have my doubts this abomination would come out of committee.

This is like the small arms treaty. Just a bunch of BS.
Is there a cite for that proposition?
The left wants a one world government. This would be one step towards their goal.
If anybody from W.H.O. or any UN agency gets in my face, they will taste a .45 caliber treat.
The US Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land. Any UN edict that is counter to it, is not applicable to US citizens
I was technically subjected to UN overlords in 1983, however my company commander said if he saw a UN patch sewed on the arm of anybody’s uniform, they’d lose the arm...by fire axe. We continued to run our own show and got our ammo onshore
Bullshit!
It may take a while, but this will eventually be struck down as treaties cannot override our Constitutional rights.
If so, it will still wind its way through the courts and eventually must be struck down as treaties, going through congress or not, cannot override our constitutional rights. A Constitutional Amendment could do so, but that is not the case in this scenario.
This is what I was taught, and I certainly may be wrong.
What was someone saying about a “hill to die on”?
After researching some and reading my Constitution, she is correct. The president may negotiate and sign treaties, but must be ratified with advise and CONSENT of the Senate by two thirds of those present. At which time the treaty becomes the "law of the land".
However, there are a number of Judicial decisions since that say treaties may not violate individual rights of the Constitution. It's a complicated issue, but in general treaties are lawful.
