Like Alexander Vindman, Esper was convinced he and his bosom buddy Gen. Milley knew more than President Trump did.
When you think of everything that's gone wrong with the U.S. military -- from its wokester agenda, to its failure to contain Russia, to its breakdown in discipline, to the presence of Gen. Mark Milley on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, pretty much all of it has the name of Mark Esper, President Trump's former defense secretary, all over it.
Rather than slink off into obscurity after such a performance, if not back to the big-bucks war-machine defense-contractor lobby whence he sprang, he's out shilling a tell-all book and promoting it on 60 Minutes in a bid to discredit the man he purportedly "served," President Trump.
According to 60 Minutes interviewer Norah O'Donnell, he now calls Trump "a threat to American democracy."
But his interview with 60 Minutes didn't come out the heroic way he probably thought it would.
Unbeknownst to him, he demonstrated what a coward's coward and slithering snake he was while in office. Everything he did involved some new means of undercutting President Trump, or, as O'Donnell summed up, "subverted many of the president's wishes."

Vindman and Esper HAVE THE SAME LAWYER....
Trump was up against the Deep State. Anyone who thinks Trump could have walked into the job as president and hired whoever he wanted, is sadly mistaken. As you wrote, the president’s appointments have to go through the senate, and we all know how compromised many Republicans are in there. Let’s not forgot the swamp isn’t only on the left.
Like you wrote, Trump succeeded in exposing the swamp. He brought them out into the open. For that, I am very grateful.
You nailed it, Mr. K.
Shame so many, many on here, still can’t see what he was up against. The man couldn’t be the CEO, COO, CFO, the entire batch of Senior VPs and in this case, the Director of Human Resources, all while trying to cut taxes, get rid of the AHA, renegotiate trade deals, ACTUALLY and FINALLY bring Peace to the Middle East, rebuild the military, try to get us out of wars and war zones, SECURE THE BORDER AND END THE REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT SCAM....all of that with NO help from the Republicans in Congress.
“A” snake? Trump’s cabinet was a den of vipers!
I want DeSantis. However, if McConnell is still the Senate Leader, he will make DeSantis do what he wants, fill the positions with people he wants or else, he won’t help pass his policies.
President can only do so much. McConnell ham-strung Trump as well.
Isn’t Biden’s “open border” policy anything other than treason?
Treason has become fashionable in Biden’s Amerika.
Esper was a creep when he was IN the White House.
YEAH.
Since when do we hold traitors accountable?
The last traitors who received appropriate justice were the Rosenbergs back in the early fifties.
The swamp members are still snickering among themselves.
And the Rosenbergs weren’t even charged with treason. They were charged with espionage.
Treason has such a high Constitutional standard that such charges are not even sought. And despite wild claims, the death penalty hasn’t been applied to treason since one case during the Civil War.
Trump mistake was picking snakes. Dr Oz sounds like bad news.
I worry about that too.
I heard on Steve Bannon’s war room today that Esper was the choice 9and good friend) to of Mike Pompeo and they don’t think too much of Mike Pompeo either on the war room it seems. I always felt weird about Pompeo, he doesn’t seem real to me. Carefully hiding who he really is?
I heard today that Esper is a great friend of Mike Pompeo from West Point and Mike is the one who recommended Esper. Steve Bannon was calling it the West Point Mafia.
Concur.
I think his daughter was part of WEF. Not sure what to think of that.
