Mayo Clinic infectious disease expert, Dr. Gregory Poland, told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the new COVID-19 variant, BA2.212.1, has created a surge in the central portion of New York state and in South Africa, where it originated. Scientists are keeping a close eye on it because it is 30% more transmissible than the Omicron variant and initial lab tests show it evades current vaccines.
“Using human sera in hamsters, a hamster model, but it’s a good model, the vaccines didn’t offer much of any benefit in the face of these new, almost — I call them super variants — and that’s a problem,” said Poland.
Poland said the new variant is likely playing a role in the recent increase of new cases across the country and in Minnesota where those numbers rose from 1,000 new cases last week to roughly 2,500 new cases this week, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

It’s easy to shut everything down when someone else gets the egg on the face for it (Ukraine is another example of that - he’s not going to pay, someone else is, so he’ll gamble really high and even if the Russians attack because you offer NATO membership to Ukraine, blame them!).
Politics is a nasty business in general. But folks like Biden have no limits to what they will do or sacrifice in order to climb to the top and stay in power. Why do you think all these issues like paying off college debt are being thrown on the table now? He polls low among the young which is where he should be strong. These guys have no values. They believe in themselves and are for sale. A return of Covid now would hurt Biden, not benefit him.

A couple observations on the child hepatitus. It appears all of the kids with hepatitus had a COVID-19 infection 3 1/2 months prior to the hepatitus symptoms. It also appears that the parents of children with hepatitus were vaxxed.
Is there any temporal proximity of a parent getting a "booster" before the child exhibits symptoms? Is there shedding of exosomes from the parent to child? Spike/mRNA via mother's milk?

However, little protection is provided against viral replication and shedding in the upper airways due to the lack of a local sIgA immune response, indicating a risk of transmission of virus from vaccinated individuals.
I'd argue that providing minimal personal protection while allowing continued spread is a feature, not a bug (ha ha).

Most likely. As far as I know, Ivr or HCQ have stopped the virus and every variant.
