Might as well join all the other beltway bandits. I thought they were idiots to move there in the first place. Maybe all the tax incentives ran out.

I recall seeing the company name on a building in downtown Chicago, but they never had a major office presence there. The move there never did make any sense.

Move to DC, buy a few more politicians, then those pesky 737max crashes won’t be a problem.

It was done in the Obama years to be close to Obama.

And keep putting the FAA delays into SpaceX Starship so they can get more time to get their starliner bugs worked out.

When Boeing made the choice for Chicago they claimed they wanted to be in the center of the USs timezones.

Now I guess they want to be in the center of the trough.

Obama was a state senator when Boing moved there in 2001.

Whispers at the time were that the CEO’s wife was hot for the glitz, glamour and upscale life of North Michigan Ave. aka Mag Mile. Now, thanks to the democrats, it’s the boarded-up mile.😀

Honestly, it pissed a bunch of us folks off in Western Washington when they left. Then again, the politics and such were one of the big reasons....as in, the state wasn’t going to give Boeing what they wanted. What’ll they get out of DC?

Oh, goody. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. That’ll be like moving from 1970s New York City to 1990s Sarajevo.
