Some interesting developments on the leaked Supreme Court decision. 1) Roberts confirms that's the decision. 2) Although Thomas writes exceptional legally-argued decisions, Sam Alito has a remarkable flair for sticking the knife. In his decision, he repeatedly referenced the legal reasoning of . . . Lawrence Tribe from 1973! Alito not only reverses lib nonsense but does it with their own words. 3) Long discussion with Richard Baris today. Bottom line, NO subgroup in his polling supports abortion. Some are closer than others, but Hispanics strongly oppose, and even LIBERAL WOMEN by a small majority oppose anything past the first trimester. The only group consistently supporting it is liberal men. If the question is asked with wording removing "criminalizing" and instead saying the issue would be returned to the states, virtually all support disappears.
According to Baris, the #1, 2, 3 and 4 issues for Americans is inflation, inflation, inflation and gas prices/food prices. This trumps abortion on every poll. "The notion that this decision would bring a bunch of pro-choicers to the polls is ludicrous" he said. They are already the single most highly motivated, most-likely-to-vote group out there. Instead, it brings out pro-lifers who are often less motivated voters."
4) The leak was NOT a "precedent." In 1856, Justice Catron, who supported Roger Taney's pro-slave majority in the Dred Scott Case, wrote to Pres. James Buchanan in DECEMBER 1856 telling him that he would be "very happy" with the Dred Scott decision to be released in April.
5) Zen Master, my court guru, has urged that the Court release its "final" decision immediately with the "written opinions yet to come" so as to protect the members of the court. Good idea.
6) Faux News has a big poll out today virtually confirming everything Baris has found. Baris: "I get concerned when Fox starts to look like my results."
7) Big child vax victory today from a KS case, while Supreme Courts in Italy and Spain have ruled that mandatory vaxxes violate their constitutions.
8) Zen Master says this is only the first of a trio of big victories. Guns and Affirmative action incoming.
9) Let them try to end the filibuster. First, Manchin-on-a-Hill and Enema are pretty smart for DemoKKKrats and they know that within two years a reelected Trump would utterly crush the DemoKKKrats for a CENTURY if they did this. In terms of court packing, Yertle is an evil spooge but he knows his procedure and he'll tie up any schemes for two years. It's about the only thing Yertle is good at.
10) Oh, and all the critics of Kegger Kavanagh & ACB need to apologize. if they did nothing else, this would put them in the judicial freedom and justice hall of fame.
you’re totally clueless
Thank you Larry… Concise, succinct, and well stated
I have evidence that the Democrat national vote fraud machine coordinates with the Brandon Media to get out phony "turnout" with these kinds of "outrage campaigns".
It gives the DNC vote fraud machine and their Media cover when they manufacture outrageous results.
See McCaskill vs Akin 2012 (MO) and Donnelly vs Mourdock 2012 (IN) [the phony "rape controversies" ginned up by the Media to cover up the Democrat US Senate Steals in both states].
Missouri 2008 McCain Obama 1,445,814 1,441,911 Missouri 2012 Romney Obama 1,482,440 1,223,796 Akin McCaskill 1,063,698 1,484,683
Indiana 2008 McCain Obama 1,345,648 1,374,039 Indiana 2012 Romney Obama 1,420,543 1,152,887 Mourdock Donnelly 1,133,621 1,281,181
Don't ask me why they just didn't take Missouri for Obama - other than those "votes" cost extra money better spent elsewhere, and on other races.
We know that Zero didn't need Missouri or Indiana's EVs - but Dirty Harry needed the Senate seats.
Mourdock was a terrible candidate. It didn’t take any cheating to defeat him. The candidate that defeated him (Joe Donnelly) only lasted one term and was defeated 51/45 for re-election.
They covered The Cheat with the "controversy".
The Democrat vote fraud machine is a NATIONAL organization.
The Republicans don't have a similar organization - because the Brandon Media would bust them HARD for it [and have tried to do so in the past].
The Republicans also have the Republican-conservative coalition, so they can back into seats in CONgrift without working too hard.
Just as long as they get their fair share of the Swamp spoils, they don't make too many waves.
[A] change in behavior [in other states] seemed to occur on or around December 23, 2020, the day after Arizona authorities announced that fingerprints on absentee ballot envelopes helped uncover an illegal ballot harvesting scheme in that state.
The mules all started wearing disposable gloves.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Donnelly lost in 2018, the "Blue Wave" year. What a coincidence, hey? You'd think that the "outrage about Trump" would have secured the seat in a walk-away for Donnelly...
After all, the "outrage about Trump" "defeated" John James in the adjacent northern state, Michigan...
I'll have to examine the race with my vote fraud tool.
Was just listening to Barnes (@Barnes_Law). He seems pretty confident this is the ruling, as is Zen Master.
The attempt to intimidate will likely have the OPPOSITE effect, as even Roberts will likely insist that judges not buckle to public pressure. Roberts is a spooge, but he is an institutionalist spooge who thinks of himself as protecting the court. He won’t let it be seen that public pressure is changing votes.
But just to be sure, I’d put the final decision (less written dissents, etc) out tomorrow.
Well, and the abortion issue is NOT what the Hoax news media thinks it is.
Right now, inflation is literally killing people.
Richard Baris, Big Data Poll, People’s Pundit Daily. The absolute most accurate pollster in the country. Trafalgar is #2.
Ha. That’s maple syrple to you.
Wow, IN was really close with Mourdock.
Thanks.
Yes. Exactly.
Have you seen the latest cover of Vogue magazine?
Nicely put!
"What it all boils down to..."
Thanks so much. For the first time since election night I watched Laura Ingraham on Fox and she had a l i t o s clerk on. She spoke as if it was a done deal as well and that this is the ruling. I totally agree with you that they should release it sooner than later. I am so grateful to God that this is seemingly overturned
No. Dare I look?
Every single day, hundreds of pro-lifers protest at abortion clinics across the country. Not a single mention on the news.
But get a couple dozen pro-abort protestors, it’s the Top Story on the Evening News.
