The latest issue has on its cover an actress/celebrity, heavily pregnant, in a sheer outfit.
It seems odd that in a culture that celebrates and values abortion, some people go to the other extreme with “gravid fashion” and “gender reveal” parties and boasting of their “baby bumps” as if these are all fashion statements of some sort and not a blessed event from Heaven.
Prior to Roe v. Wade and birth control technologies, it seems the advent of a new human life was celebrated with more modesty.
