If American politicians really cared about the Ukrainian people, they would be pushing a negotiated settlement to end the bloodshed and destruction. They would not be shipping more weapons into Ukraine so many more can die and more of the country can be destroyed.

I do not mean to justify Zelensky‘s actions. Instead I am pointing out that his sins pale in comparison to those of Putin.
Here’s a rough comparison. Poland in the 1930s was no bastion of liberal thought. The country was run by a cabal of Polish military officers. Those guys cared little for democracy or free speech. But then on September 1, 1939 Germany manufactured a reason to invade.
