he may babe a good fit
Does Tucker do radio?
Not everybody is a radio person.
Rush was a special talent that can’t be replaced.
#1 Tucker is a TV guy and is already employed.
#2 There are better people for conservative radio like Chris Plante.
#3 The slot is already filled by Bongino.
Because he doesn’t need to tag on to someone else’s legacy. He has his own thing going on.
My feeling is that Tucker has stepped into the vacuum that RUSH left and has become the most influential anti-Leftist voice in America. Nobody has the humor and style of RUSH but Tucker has the talent to become the most feared anti-Leftist voice in America - not sure how he would do on radio but I’m all for it.
Tucker is pretty darned busy right now, though. However, I agree that Rush was a very, very hard act to follow, and Tucker is doing a superb job on tv showing the vacuity and idiocy of the left.
It would be smart for Tucker to host a radio show at some point to see how he does. Perhaps Hannity? But, Rush can never be replaced. It’s like replacing Baby Ruth. Besides, as a believer Rush’s gift was on loan from God.
Rush used to call him “Chatsworth Osborne III”.
Rush tried TV and got his rear end handed to him. Tucker is a king on TV. Tucker is better than Rush; going to radio would be a step down for him.
No evidence he’d be good in that format.
His current gig is as scripted as it gets.
Also short and sweet.
Because nobody would be able to see his perpetually shocked expression over the radio.
He ain't a patch on Rush Limbaugh.
TV pays a LOT more money and I’m sure he’s the highest paid on fox.

Tucker Carlson Tonight & Today
I realized he had been on during my doze and as I continued waking up, ANOTHER TC came on.
It occurs to me his commentary IS very similar to Rush and I'm glad you posted this thread.
Now I'll go read what others think
Because like Hannity, he’d be talking about the same crap he talks about on his TV show. Bill O’Reilly was no different when he had his radio and Fox News show. I haven’t listened to talk radio since 2003 when I retired, and I haven’t watched news programming on any platform since 2008 when Obama got elected. That includes Fox News. Anyone that still listens to Hannity’s radio show, and then watches his TV show, needs to have their head examined.
If he’d be happy with an 85% salary reduction over his current wage, you’d have a point.
Tucker points out the absurdity and destruction done by the left however he lacks Rush’s charm and wit. Just not the same.
Nobody can.
Tucker could never fill three hours a day, five days a week.
Agree on Rush. He was the BEST ever on radio.
SUPER,RUSH.
That is a ton of work. Fox had him doing stuff on Fox Nation.
