#1 Tucker is a TV guy and is already employed.
#2 There are better people for conservative radio like Chris Plante.
#3 The slot is already filled by Bongino.
Agree with you wholeheartedly on Chris Plante. Knows his stuff, great sense of humor, and, like Rush, he has the natural ability to make his listeners feel like friends.
But agree wholeheartedly with Laz as well: Nobody replaces Rush.
I like Chris Plante, but like Hannity, he repeats the same old lines on his show every day—gets boring! He digresses a lot!
Mark Kaye is in my area. The guy is funny.
Rush was one of a kind.
The slot is already filled by Bongino.
Not in my listening area.
I’ve never listened to talk radio except for Rush on occasion, but I heard a bit of Chris Plante the other day and was impressed.
Tucker’s more in his element doing what he’s doing, and Fox seems highly supportive, especially given the headwinds he’s faced.
And face it, talk radio is dying. The FCC is chomping at the bit to eliminate analog AM radio and if/when that happens it will be curtains for any format where listeners won’t go out and buy a new radio. May not happen but it’s hard to paint a rosy future picture for anything but non-commercial narrowcasting on AM.
