Roe was effectively “overturned” by Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
The part that was not overturned was the very foundation, holding that abortion is somehow and in some instances a constitutional right. SCOTUS has never receded from that, only from how and where to draw the line “where the law will say life begins,” and will protect it.
Similarly ludicrous is that the homosexual marriage is a constitutional right.
But back to the abortion issue, saying the court expressly throws Roe in the dust bin does not mean the court expressly rejects holding abortion is protected by the US constitution. On the other hand, as you point out, the court could say it is not, therefore no federal issue, therefore leaving all of it up to the states.

abortion is like climate change...the left and the media act like its the end of the world..but in truth, most voters really dont pay attention to that...its never been high in any election poll....half the country is for it, half against.
