Elon Musk put this out today showing where he stood .. and now stands politically.
Intelligent people usually are. The lying media blarney only works on the stupid, and unfortunately too much of the voting public are stupid.
You can be a liberal without being woke. Joseph Lieberman is an old school liberal. I doubt he is that woke. Some of his political issues are at odds with the “progressives” today.
I like the diagram and I like the fact that he posted it.
But I think there is another way to slice the right/left political orange:
Left = deception / right = truth
But the Left is mostly innocent - over 90% are deceived, and less than 10% are deceivers.
Show me a Leftist who moves toward the Right - and I’ll show you a person who is finally seeing through the Leftist lies.
The Left doesn’t.
I replied to him(not that he saw it among many thousands of replies) that many “conservatives” have always been where “me” is now.
Nope. It’s what makes them Leftists.
He seems like a Libertarian with some Conservative leanings.
+++++
That’s the box I would also check. Not a liberal. But probably not Barry Goldwater either. But so far, so good. I’ll take it. But someone should tell him he needs to buy the Washington Post and CNN.
Let’s just pray enough Left of Centers have really become woke and vote conservative in high enough numbers that the corrupt cheaters can’t get away with more election theft.
One more example of Elon Musk, the genius . . .
We had a falling out, when I was awarded an Army ROTC 4 year scholarship. He said to my face how "disappointed he was with my decision. I laughed in his face, told him he was crazy.
8 years later, I'm an Army 1st LT, in my 4th year in Germany. My German neighbors are pleading with me to vote for Carter, they were sure Reagan would start WWIII. After 4 years of the Carter Administration, I was a staunch advocate for Reagan. If there's one thing we know about the US, the world is a safer place when America is strong.
In my discussions with my neighbors, I spoke to them in their language, as I had learned to speak it quite well, though I wouldn't say I was fluent. My life experiences and education convinced me that Reagan would be a far better President than Carter.
Those years in Germany were a transformational experience. I started out as a no-nothing butterbar. Within 3 months I had both Chaparral missile platoons in my battery, with mixed results at the beginning. A year later, I took over one of our towed Vulcan platoons, with greater success. Being responsible for up to 40 lives less than a year after college can be daunting, but I had great platoon sergeants, both with experience in Vietnam.
About a year after that, I took over as the Battalion S-4, at the ripe old age of 25. In that post, I was a real PITA, because the job was perfect for my experience: a public accounting degree, and six months as the Battalion Property Book Officer.
All told, by the time I departed in July 1981, I had 4+ years of varied leadership roles, in addition to living in a foreign land. They molded me into the man I am today.
Taking it a step further, I am disappointed and angered at the leadership of our Texas National Guard. The chain of command was derelict in the death of their soldier who recently drowned in the Rio Grande. He was not provided a flotation device, which should have been a requirement considering how swiftly the Rio Grande flows at this time of year.
As a former Platoon Leader and Battery Commander, I believe the entire chain of command should have been relieved. It's up to the leaders in that chain of command to issue clear orders and rules of engagement, to get the mission done.
Apologies for the length.
EXACTLY right. Most people have not looked at graphs for a long time. Today, not even sure if your average high school understands what one is, let alone how to read it.
No apologies needed. Good testimony!
Musk’s political views aren't straight forward. He was critical of President Trump before the election and said that he “was probably not the right guy” as he “doesn't seem to have the sort of character that reflects well on the United States.” Later, Musk joined President Trump's advisory council. However, he left the advisory council a few months later when President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Climate Deal. President Trump's decision wasn't a surprise. He had openly talked of exiting the Paris Climate Deal during the election campaign.
Elon Musk's political party
In a tweet in June 2018, Elon Musk said that he isn't a conservative and called himself a "moderate." The next day, he called himself a “socialist.” Musk also supported Andrew Yang for president in the 2020 election. Yang advocated the idea of UBI (Universal Basic Income). The idea is too left-leaning even for most of the Democrats.

Works the same way on the right people!
Yup. Watch a few one hour interviews of the Musk and you will most likely have deep respect for the man.
Elon Musk is Tony Stark.
I had to look that name up. Good one. He also kinda reminds me of Reardon of Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" because of his unique creativity. But he's still no conservative.
Moving in the right direction. Actually Elon is my hero. With SpaceX he is doing EXACTLY what I dreamed of doing when I was young. I dreamed of making hundreds of millions and dumping it into space travel. I didn’t get there but I get a BIG kick out of someone else living my dream.
