Russia's state TV tells viewers 'we're all going to die someday': Nuclear war is 'most probable outcome', viewers are told,

'but we will go to heaven while they simply croak'

Russian media has began openly discussing the prospect of global nuclear war Margarita Simonyan, one of Russia's chief propagandists, told viewers last night that nuclear conflict is 'more probable' than the chance of Russia losing the war

'This is a horror to me,' she said, before adding: 'But it is what it is. We will go to heaven while [the West] will simply croak... we're all going to die someday'

Comes after Putin and foreign minister Lavrov also threatened to go nuclear

Vladimir Putin will launch an all-out nuclear war on the West rather than accept defeat in Ukraine, Russia's chief propagandists have declared, in just the latest chilling threat coming from Moscow.

Margarita Simonyan, editor of state broadcaster RT and one of the Kremlin's highest-profile mouthpieces, declared on TV last night that the idea of Putin pressing the red button is 'more probable' than the idea that he will allow Russia to lose the war.

'Either we lose in Ukraine,' she said, 'or the Third World War starts. I think World War Three is more realistic, knowing us, knowing our leader.

'The most incredible outcome, that all this will end with a nuclear strike, seems more probable to me than the other course of events.

'This is to my horror on one hand,' she told a panel of experts shifting nervously in their seats, 'but on the other hand, it is what it is. We will go to heaven, while they will simply croak... We're all going to die someday.'

Simonyan’s calm imagining of nuclear holocaust is just the latest threat issued from the top levels of the Russian state, after fellow propagandist Vladimir Solovyov, foreign minister Sergei Lavrov, and Putin himself issued threats in the last 48 hours.

The US and UK have dismissed such rhetoric as bluster but the increasing frequency of the threats coupled with the failures of Russia’s military will raise fears that a Cold War-style standoff is now a realistic possibility before the war in Ukraine ends.

It comes after Russia successfully test-launched its latest nuclear missile - Sarmat 2 - last week, with Putin boasting it can strike targets anywhere on earth and cannot be stopped by any current missile defences.

So they are admitting they are losing and have nothing but bluster.

Apparently Russian media, like our own, thrives on generating a crisis and scaring its viewers.

Russia is just a larger North Korea with more rockets and more nukes. At least Kim Jung Un is not cancerous with Parkinson’s. Kim Jung Un has a very spiffy haircut too.

Matter of fact, Russia has only 6 times more population than North Korea. Russia has 144 million people. North Korea has 25 million people

They’re right, but IMO it won’t happen for a few decades and not until immediately after Jesus takes his saints out of this world along with the Holy Spirit.

If this were imminent his own bodyguards would club him to death. I don’t think they share his grandiose vision. I don’t think anyone in the Kremlin or his oligarchs share his grandiose vision of glory from dying.

Yeah well at every stage Russia had said what they were going to do and they have turned around and done it so I would be more inclined to believe Putin then I would these naysayers who say it’s just bluster

“ Daily Mail propaganda”

You are right. The newscast never happened. The Russian tv host didn’t actually say any of that. The Daily Mail completely made it up.
