The next wave of mask mandates

To be generous, the use of masks during what was billed as a viral based respiratory pandemic is pseudoscience at best, given what was worn, how it was worn, where it was worn, the duration it was worn, and so on and so on. No need to beat the dead horse who did not die of COVID.

Masking is now on the decline as evidenced by the rollback in cities, states, public transportation, etc. Though there is still the issue of masking children in school, that will likely go by the wayside in the short run. Primarily, it will be due to the political class looking toward re-election; once you let the parents off the hook, it is a liability to keep the charade going by using children as hostages. To rational people, it should be clear that there was never a scientific rationale to justify masking's use and obvious child abuse to continue.

But if I were an evil genius, how could I keep my pet project of subjugation — I mean protecting the public's safety — going? Well, this is a medical issue, after all, so I'd look for the obvious: the medical environment.

According to the CDC, there are 860,000,000 medical office visits and 130,000,000 E.R. visits each year.

The CDC is the organization that our political class has followed for all matters, whether tangential or not, related to COVID. CMS, the Medicare and Medicaid organization, follows the "guidance" of the CDC. Most medical providers and sites of service accept Medicare and Medicaid and are therefore bound by CMS rules. If masks are recommended by the CDC, CMS will require it

Let me tell you a story, an ironic story that illustrates how stupid and useless ALL of this mask and "vaccine" nonsense is. It is also a true story.

I am one of three siblings, with an 87-year old mother. Two of us have never bought into the entire "COVID" scam, while one has. This one sibling is "fully vaccinated", dutifully wears a mask and "social distances", etc. This sibling also convinced our mother to get "vaccinated" (two doses, though she has since refused to get "boosted"). My other sibling and I will never get "vaccinated", nor do we wear masks, distance, or do any of the other "COVID" b.s. unless absolutely forced to do so (while flying, for example).

At one point several months ago, my mother confided to me that our COVIDian sibling had expressed concern to her about seeing/being around me, because I am not "vaccinated". I do not know if the COVIDian knows that our other sibling is also not "vaccinated". If you have liberals in your family, it is usually best not to even discuss a lot of things, in the interest of keeping the peace. Such is the disposition and "liberalism" of "liberals".

Recently, my mother spent several weeks at the "COVIDian" sibling's house. All members of that household are "vaccinated", and my sibling and their spouse are dutiful liberals who follow all of the "mitigation" measures and recommendations from the CDC/Fraudci, with near-religious fervor.

OK, so here's the ironic part: while my mother was staying at the COVIDian's house, my COVIDian (and fully "vaccinated") sibling tested positive for "COVID".

Now, you might think that this would cause my COVIDian sibling to doubt the efficacy of both the "vaccines", and the other "COVID" crap we have been subjected to for the past two years. Ah, but we're talking about a liberal, so you would be wrong.

The point being, whenever the CDC or Fraudci or Biden or whomever, calls for more mandates/restrictions, there is a huge portion of the population that will jump to comply. This is the sad reality we are now living in. These COVIDian fools will continue to drag all of us down the road to absolute government tyranny. And sadly, as in my case, many of these fools are beloved friends and family members.
