Interestingly enough, Hitler rejected the use of chemical weapons to help defend Germany as the Allies closed in. Historians have proposed a number of theories to explain why. Hitler himself was gassed in WW I. Perhaps it was too inhumane, even for him. Or maybe he just feared a like retaliation.
Anyway, would Putin have similar restraint?
