I highly doubt this is related since it is a series on Amazon. But in Picard seasion 2, episode 2, at the end, last 3 minutes, sums up the Brandon residency. I have rewatched it 15 times now and it just gets funnier every time, but also scarier at the same time.
The original series had a number of episodes that were heavily dystopic. If anything, the show repeatedly debunked the concept of a utopian, socialist existence and instead showed the harsh reality that resulted from seeking it.
TNG was where the leftist agenda crept in - and it has continually worsened with each new installment. It's sad that the best concept to come out of the franchise in decades was a fan film - Axanar - and CBS/Paramount quickly stomped it.
Season one was... ok.
Season 2, I was able to watch about 8 minutes into the first episode and knew that it is bad. Haven’t bothered watching any more.
You do realize the series producer proudly bragged he’s LEFTIE and patrick Stewart hates conservatives and Trump right?
“After the way he insulted and mocked President Trump, the only way I’d watch Patrick Stewart would be him dying “
I actually met that asshole. Patrick stewart is a raging lunatic leftard.
The producer of the new Star Trek series used to be an intern with me back in the late 2000’s when we were working for a small network, and I hated him back then meaning nothing’s changed.
It stands for “the original series”.👍
The Original Series. Ok.. Now that you guys got me thinking... I always liked the old ones as a kid... then the newer ones went full commie... and the movies tied it back to TOS for me.
I still remember Spock in the second or third movie “the good of the many outweighs the good of the one” or some such.
Maybe I need to reconsider TOS episodes though.
XD I kept thinking Terms of Service for some dumb reason. Thanks,
I had high hopes for season 2. I think Star Trek died after Nemesis. Everything post Nemesis is garbage and should not be considered Star Trek.
The Spock quote that you remember was a device to set the stage for his self-sacrifice at the end of TWOK. In ST3, he learns that his shipmates risked their careers to help him - because his individual needs were more important than the group’s collective needs. Roddenberry often would sneak little messages about morality into the show, and I think this is an example of that continuing into the feature films.
Is it that same old fruit playing Picard?
The studios had people who have said they did not like Star Trek make the movies and tv shows.... Picard is very bad as is Star Trek Discovery aka STD <-—

I always thought it was humorous that Voyager had a female captain that got lost in space.
I do not know what ‘Nemesis’ refers to in this context.
Years ago, Asimov wrote a book titled Nemesis which was about essentially the earliest days of faster than Light speed. The one group traveled to the next star system which took them a very long time and shortly after they settled, another ship using the new technology arrived which left years later but arrived at the same place soon after the first ship landed.

Slight;ly off topic:
Doctor Who will have one more episode this year, after “Legend Of The Sea Devils” (episode13) 20% audience share with 3.6 ,million viewers in UK. The Sea Devil episode is the lowest-rated story since the series returned in 2005, and the second lowest in the show’s history (1st place held by the 1989 show “Battlefield”).
A new production team, headed up by Russell T Davies, takes over for series 14. I think the property was sold to Sony.
I’m hopeful the show will be returning back to the original premise with the preceding 3 years taking place in some now-destroyed or lost Universe or alternate dimension, now forever sealed. And the end of female Doctors and Masters once and for all!
LOL! Thanks for the update!
The movie- Star Trek Nemesis. Pretty good actually.
and the ratings went up ONLY when they introduced a hot blonde in a tight suit. Mulgrew is a bona fide lunatic leftard.
Did you watch it on acid?
Worst drivel ever.
