Yes they moved over to a cloud vendor over the weekend and so far looks like they may finally be able to handle the load now
I have been live on Truth Social Beta for months. I can report it offers an intuitive, uncluttered interface and fosters high interaction and engagement with mostly social conservatives and economic populists.
As has been reported they have emerged from the beta and ported over to Rumble to scale and not be reliant on AWS and similar clouds.
Next up: deploying both web and Android instances, while enhancing the app with new features and functions (e.g. photo and video rendering).
I find it to be a useful new platform and hope it’s successful as yet another new tool to advance the cause.
still an EXTREMELY limited platform: works only with Apple ios 13.0 or greater, does NOT work with ANY PC in the world, does not work with ANY Android in the world, and does not work with older Apples ... it’s just another app for apple fanbois and fangurls who bought the latest and greatest ...
Of course, I see all the haters are already piling onto this thread. They are defeatists, probably a little sore that they were put on a waitlist in the first place, and will do all they can to parrot the MSM line that Truth Social is "dead on arrival." Because that's what they do.
Anyway, here is some "Truth" about Truth Social that the naysayers don't want to tell you about:
So instead of taking potshots at the service and being all butthurt that you were placed on a waitlist or might be waiting for the Android app, we should be supporting this new platform spearheaded by President Trump and taking into consideration that it is quite a challenge to build a new independent platform from scratch while NOT using big tech infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud, etc.
As for the pending Twitter purchase by Elon Musk, the impact of that remains to be seen but that can only have a positive impact on free speech and I wish Elon Musk luck in loosening the hold that the Deep State has on it. We'll see how that plays out.

I joined when it first started up, and patiently waited for others. It’s really picking up speed.
When I was on twitter, I didn’t do much at all there.
I’m on TS about fifty times more per day than I was on twitter.

Why would I join a platform that is hosted on a system (Rumble), that the regime can shut down at any moment? Join Gab. They have their own hardware, their own connection to the internet backbone, and their own software which they developed. That is where Free speech is, not this fake ‘Truth Social’.
You can’t browse Truth Social postings without being registered. That was never a problem with Twitter and, obviously, Free Republic.
I won’t join for that reason.
