Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led to a dramatic shift in American public opinion: 70% of Americans now consider Russia an enemy of the United States, up from 41% in January. And on this topic, Democrats and Republicans largely agree, with 72% of Democrats and 69% of Republicans describing Russia as an enemy.
A new Pew Research Center survey, conducted March 21-27, finds that just 7% of U.S. adults have an overall favorable opinion of Russia. Only 6% express confidence in its leader, President Vladimir Putin. In contrast, 72% have confidence in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“...Russia has been our greatest enemy since WW2.”
I agree that they have been our enemy since WW2, but as to the “greatest”, I don:t know. We have had globalists and Communists in our government from our nation’s founding, and it these villainous and traitorous wolves in sheep’s clothing that I consider our greatest enemy.
There is no “Russia,” only “USSR Lite.”
I never said you did. I repeat what I said; "You are delusional if you believe America supports Christianity". It was a counter to your claim that communism does not support Christianity. What I see is more of a Christian nation than we currently are.
This is an interesting article on that topic:
Is Putin a ‘Real’ Christian? To Understand This Conflict We Need to Ask Different Questions
Perhaps it is you who needs reading comprehension skills. I might add you need better communication skills while I am at it. As, you merely stated I didn't say that. Not really clear as to what you meant by that statement, especially since I did not attribute what I admittedly said, as your beliefs.
You might actually learn something.
Scott Ritter. Bwahahahaha. I remember him. No thanks
Of course not, becaue you know better, so you think.
Alliances come and go.
Do you not remember this yob?
The CIA’s plan has worked on an alarming number of freepers.
Hi.
I’ve always seen Ivan as the enemy. Trained to engage him.
Put my butt on the line to kill him.
Having said that, the Ukraine is not my circus, and not my monkeys.

I am against Putin and for all of the good people of Russia.
The good people of Russia are not rendered evil by being ethnic Russians.
The good people of Russia are not rendered evil by living in Russia.
Russians need good leadership at the national level and don’t currently have that.
Americans also need good leadership at the national level and also don’t currently have that.
America and Russia, both with infinitely better leaders, should work together for the prosperity of the Northern Hemisphere.
Western sanctions are driving Russia into de facto unification with China.
Thought of you today.
The daily 3 digit lottery number in Massachusetts was ‘556.’
Excellent take on the situation!
Hi.
Unfortunately young FReeper, the powers that be will convince you that Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.
See George Orwell’s “1984.”

But I am still willing to listen to Scott Ritter on this conflict. Mainly because I have a much more open mind then I had back then. I guess that comes with age, as well as, what I am seeing taking place in this country. It most definitely is not the country I was born into. Are you not concerned with what you are seeing? Are you not upset that our leaders are hell bent on destroying this nation and further indebting the American population with wars that neither help us or keep us safer?
All some people see is that Russia invaded Ukraine, however, it is much more complicated than just that one fact. They totally do not recognize that the 2 Donbas regions which wanted to be autonomous, and Russia accepted their being just that. Ritter does a good job of explaining this aspect.
Why do you always bring up Soviets? Do you even understand the Soviets no longer exist? How old is that crap you post?
You love supporting the NWO crap. You pimp for it every day.
Good heavens, it is all old. In the US, as we sit here, the state of California wants to kill babies up to 28 days after being born. And you pick on Russians? What the heck is wrong with you?
And here you are supporting the sick government that is as bad or worse than Russia. I imagine Hillary is on your side.
In name at least they gave up Communism. There is no Soviet Premier. There is no Politburo (Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union).
That was President Reagan's victory.
On 6 November 1991, Yeltsin banned the Soviet Communist Party (CPSU), which had exercised pervasive control over Russian society for years. The breakup of the Soviet Union was acknowledged in the Belavezha Accords of 8 December, ratified by the Supreme Soviet of the Russian SFSR on 12 December.
Their President is authoritarian, but so is ours now.
Well said.
