I can’t imagine forcing a child to drink half a bottle of Whiskey. If they thought it would teach her a lesson, another sip would have suffice. This was out and out cruelty unless they are extremely low IQ.

Oh horse puckey! The type of people who have enough of a conscience to feel such remorse would never have forced that child to drink a half bottle of whiskey. It's long past time that we as a society stop being soft on criminals of every type.

I think you might want to consider what kind of monsters they are before attributing to them the emotions that say a normal person would be expected to have. Its a corollary to the saying that you should not expect rational responses from irrational people.

I agree. First degree murder requires intent. I don’t think either of these gals are smart enough to have understood what they were doing. Stupid is as stupid does. But stupid bungling doesn’t equal first degree murder.
