I had an argument with the airlines a couple of weeks ago.
My flight was delated 7 hours, after which point the employee said the crew had ‘timed out’ and could not work any more hours that day, due to regulations.
This was after pushing the time of departure back an hour EVERY hour, for 7 hours.
I was really mad because this employee had told us the crew had departed their previous destination and were ON THEIR WAY, 5 hours earlier.
They gave us ‘vouchers’ for overnight stay and breakfast, but it was already 2AM and the next flight was at 6AM. We got 2 hours sleep and missed breakfast because we had to rush.
Airlines policy are CRAP because the regulations are CRAP. 3 hours in line to get through the security? You have to delay MILLIONS of people just to ‘be fair’????? How fair is that to everyone? Gramma in the wheelchair probably doesn’t have a bomb. USE YOUR HEADS. Israel does it right- they search whoever they want and ONLY whoever they want and they dont care who minds.
That person could at least make an effort to find out more information…. ORiley flying Jet Blue is the crazy part….
That ..and Fox news became the RINO version of CNN and MSNBC
Uncalled-for behavior, but I have witnessed worse. One stormy day, I sensed a lynch mob about to form for the agents at a departure gate on the Charlotte E concourse.
Not a good ‘look’ for Bill. Angry is one thing, verbally abusive is another.
There is an interview with US Freedom Flyer founder Josh Yoder regarding the cardiac arrest a pilot suffered 6 minutes after landing. Yoder says all the delays, flights cancelled are absolutely due in part to medical issues - pilots being grounded, pilots & crews being sick. He knows of pilots flying with chest pains. There are, of course, some mechanical issues.

This is like Alec Baldwin behavior.
That is my all time favorite, and I laugh my ass off every single time I see that video.

Bill’s gotta calm down. I once had a flight delayed 23 hours due to a mechanical problem. I had to go back home, get some sleep, and come back to the airport the following evening to get the flight.

BOR - The guy who calls FR a “far right” website. The guy who wanted to appeal to everyone.
I always think “these folks are 100% ADDICTED to travel by air, what an unhealthy thing that is,” but THEN I think that I would rather not have them on the road, which is where I would always rather be. They can have the effed-up airlines.
What could he say? Scheduling is arranged by the airline operations. The pilots and people in the airport have no control or understanding at a high level of what is going on.
And that peon employee can do what about that exactly? The problem is not BOR being angry, it’s BOR taking it out on someone that is powerless to do anything about it. BOR is a scumbag.

It was pretty common knowledge from some of the biographies that have been written from people at Fox News that Bill O’Reilly was pretty much universally hated for being an arrogant and obnoxious a-hole. He literally thought he owned the place and was untouchable.

I probably only watched the channel for about a year or so and so much from there did not jive with what I read here, that I just walked away from it.
