Visit Lauderdale has rolled out a brand new ad campaign showing...same sex couples.
Stacy Ritter of Visit Lauderdale, which promotes Broward County to the world, says the move was just necessary in light of controversial laws passed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
“Whoever they love, whoever they marry, whoever they worship, they’re welcome here,” Ritter said.
...In step with the county, the Broward County school board is also pushing to promote an environment of inclusiveness, issuing a proclamation Tuesday in support of LGBTQ Youth.
The so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law leading to phone calls and cancellations from different groups to South Florida.

Florida ping?
Grooming kids is controversial to these pigs.
Gomorrah reaches out to Sodom for commerce (money), got it!
Note: They do include the obligatory LEFT label on the law; “The so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law leading to phone calls and cancellations from different groups to South Florida.” What is left unexplored is who and how many have cancelled. Gee, such great journalism!
If those in the Ft. Lauderdale government think it is great to advertise to the less than three percent of this nation at the expense of the 97 percent, I encourage them to do so. The 97 percent can choose to go to other places instead.
This serves just one purpose. That purpose is to develop fund raiser letter material for Democrat/communists in Broward which is slowly rolling to the Right.
Controversial only to the depraved. Hey, child molesters and your enablers! Visit Lauderdale!
I lived in Ft Lauderdale for 60 years. It was a much better, well governed place when the city commission was 100% white males. Then the people approved single member districts because “inclusion” and it’s been an accelerating downhill slide ever since.
Not exactly shocking.
The off beach neighborhood between Sunrise Blvd and Las Olas has been at least 50% gay since the late 1970s.
In addition, the front desk staff and management of every major beach hotel is also 50% gay.
Same thing in our little FL county in the panhandle.
At-large commissioners meant no black commissioners until the NAACP sued in the late 60s under the Voting Rights Act.
Since then, each district commissioner protects his little rice bowl to the detriment of others.
Just awful.
