As of "today", April 19, 1862, the Civil War has suffered 100 engagements (by my count), resulting in nearly 74,000 total casualties, including at least 8,200 killed in action.

Of the 100 engagements, 60 were fought in Union states & territories, 40 in Confederate states.
Overall, the Union won 45 engagements, Confederates 40, with 15 inconclusive.
But in the 26 1862 engagements, the Union won 16, Confederates won 5, with 5 inconclusive.
