The death of generals and officers in combat is the fastest way to reform a military because it makes the war real to the officer corps.

American generals and staff officers are always safe behind the lines so war is just a game and a path to profit for them. The next major war is going to expose our woke Princesses of the Pentagon even more than Afghanistan.

I just don't understand how it is that the Ukrainians have such an innate sense of where these Russian generals are going to turn up all the time.

It's like they have someone listening in on their phone and radio conversations or maybe even stealing their emails or something.
