Bossy’s diagnosis became public last October, when he stepped away from his job as an NHL analyst for the French language network TVA Sports.

RE: He was 65.

How does a strong athlete die at such a young age while rock stars who did drugs still survive over the age of 70?

Life’s not fair...then again I will never win a Stanley Cup, let alone 4!

Bossy was the best pure goal-scorer in the NHL until some kid named Gretzky came along. RIP.

Apparently the rock stars just have to make it past age 27 and they're good.

Seriously, there are plenty of them who don't really live the drugs lifestyle, such as Mick Jagger. Then there's Keith Richards - no explaining how he has made it this long.

He must have been "vaxxed" for Covid. It's been known to shorten life spans.

Clark Gilles passed away back in January.

Being such a tobacco addict that he would smoke during post-game interviews?

I read where Keith quit smoking last year. So now he’ll probably live to 120.

“ Mike Bossy, the Hall of Fame sniper who helped the New York Islanders win four straight Stanley Cups, smoked while answering postgame questions from reporters, as E.M. Swift’s Sports Illustrated story from May 1983 documents.”

Chain smoker I assume.
