His health problems made him short, cute, at a young age, and he had talent, but it was a detriment as he got older.
In 1992, he came for the Special Olympics in this area, and seemed genuine in his concern for disabled kids, and spending quality time with them.
Like a lot of child stars, he didn’t have a happy ending.

Was curious about when this happened, their ages and status. It happened in 1987. He was 19, a couple of years after Different Strokes ended, so I suppose he was still a big star. She was a 23 year-old unknown, since she didn’t start SNL until 1995.
