A Mississippi woman is facing assault charges after police say she attacked the umpire calling a youth softball game.
Police said Kiara Thomas was initially asked to leave the game for causing a disruption, WDAM reported, but instead of going home, returned at the end of the game and punched the umpire in the face.

...it got so bad at our kids games years ago that the League passed a rule banning any spoken or yelled or screamed criticism of the umpires.
Violation of the rule could get you thrown out and/or arrested or banned permanently.
There was a 99% stoppage overnight from the loudmouths.
