Brits can take their grandkids to it and say, “See, honey. This is what Dr. Who was like before LGBTQPEDOQWERTY”.

I grew up with the Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker episodes.

I don’t have a 4k player. I but blu-rays.

The scene of the Daleks triggers me. Those scary fire extinguishers frighten me. I need a ‘safe place” until I get over the trauma of viewing this.

I wonder if there will be a U.S. release. Maybe Fathom Events could run it.

I don’t have a 4k player. I buy blu-rays.I have not made the jump to 4K either. For one, my 1080P TV is still going strong. Also, I have glaucoma in one eye and my wife has macular degeneration. I doubt we'd see much of an improvement over Blu-ray (I have a ton of those). When my TV dies I will make the jump to 4K.
Kino-Lorber released both Dr Who films on Blu-ray and they are on sale at their website for $9.99 each. I've never been that into them. I doubt that 4K would make a big difference for these movies. They were fairly low-budget and were not shot in one of the large formats like Technirama or Ultra Panavision.

Dr Who was just fine until they went woke and turned him into a woman. Huge fan of Tennant and Smith, so so on Capaldi and no to the chick.

Those Daleks always looked like they were ready to “Sterilize!” you, or unplug your toilet.

Exactly the same sentiment here...wonder how many feel the same.

My husband had always been a big fan. Quit watching when they turned Dr. Who into a female.

I had a friend named Howard who made some Dr Who shorts in the 80s with the Dr being female.

I am not a fan of the Cushing episodes, or any of the new Who after Tennant.

I think Tennant was my favorite. But I thought Capaldi was kind of interesting and different.
