Disturbing video shot aboard a JetBlue flight captured passengers clamoring to get off the plane in Newark – shouting that they were scared after several failed attempts to land at JFK Airport during bad weather.
“I’m not going back in the air,” one passenger is heard yelling at officials in the cabin.
Another man is seen pleading to get off the plane, which the airline said had been scheduled to land at JFK after a flight from Cancun, Mexico, on Thursday.
“My kids are panicking,” the man shouts. “We gotta get off this plane. It’s dangerous!
“We tried to land four times already … we’re scared to fly, we wanna get off! I don’t want to go to jail but it’s not right,” he said.
“I don’t care about JFK — it’s our lives! People are sick back there, people are fainting, people are throwing up! A little respect for human beings!” the man continues as other passengers also chime in about wanting to disembark.
JetBlue spokesman Derek Dombrowski told The Post that Flight 1852 diverted to Newark Liberty International Airport “due to weather” over JFK.
“Without proper customs processing available for the flight at Newark, the aircraft remained on the ground for 60 minutes and once the weather cleared departed again for JFK where it safely landed,” he said in an email.
“We apologize for the inconvenience this weather-related diversion created,” Dombrowski added.
The airline reportedly offered passengers $50 in flight credits for the inconvenience.

$50 wow adding insult to injury..
If you’re a paying American customer you need to land somewhere where there are proper customs services, but if you’re an illegal they give you a free midnight flight to small out of the way airports across the country and turn you loose. That sounds like Biden America.
JetBlue would appear to be the Denny’s of airlines.
Why are we even bothering with customs at airports anymore? Nobody cares if you walk across the Southern border without clearing customs, and the government will even give you a free cell phone and a plane ride to the U.S. city of your choice.
Not a JetBlue problem.

That is a flat out lie. Both terminal B, an C are set up to process international passengers. Terminal B is set up for all the carriers and I've seen JetBlue parked at the internatipnal gate.
I know a trick to get thrown off a plane using only a bar of soap and some shoe polish.

I believe John Dillinger broke out of jail after carving some soap into the shape of a gun, and then darkening it with shoe polish. Fooled the guards and got them to open the door.
Airlines would frown on this whittling project.
Flight credits! Good only on that airline and for flying!
Why people hate airlines so much.
I find it very difficult to believe there’s no ability for one unscheduled flight to go through customs at Newark. I would guess JetBlue had another reason for not deplaning at Newark and made an excuse to blame customs.
My elderly mother was put through hell for a mistake they made. They wanted documentation from 1941 from an army base marriage where the base and its records were long gone. But I watched them give a license to a man with zero documentation, not even a passport, based on his word. Obviously he was an illegal.
That’s ridiculous! Newark does have customs services, just not at the terminal JetBlue uses. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have parked at a hard stand near terminal C and gotten taken through the customs facilities there.
$50?? British Airways had a late delay and we missed our connection, they paid each of us $9 for lunch, $19 for dinner put us up in a posh hotel gave us breakfast and rides to and from the airport. They even flew us on BA instead of our American flight. That’s when we decided it is BA from now on for our flights free wine and two meals to boot.
