A North Carolina medical school has backed a woke student who tweeted about injuring a patient for mocking her pronoun badge that said She/Her.
Wake Forest University released a statement including groveling commentary from Kychelle Del Rosario which suggests she will be back on rounds soon.
The trainee medic sparked outrage last month after she implied she had deliberately injured a man who mocked her by missing his vein during a blood draw.
She now claims she did so accidentally, and says a more qualified medical professional made the second blood draw attempt in line with existing procedures.
But many have queried whether Del Rosario is lying, claiming she did injure the man on purpose, only to backtrack to try to save her career.
Wake Forest said an investigation found Del Rosario's claims on Twitter did not reflect the incident, adding she had followed the guidelines correctly.
They did not comment further on how they had established the 'facts', and whether they had just taken Del Rosario's words about her true intentions at face value.
Meanwhile a 'very staged and hollow' statement by the student hinted she would be back working after she had 'reflected' on her 'social media use as a professional'.
The school was condemned for its slowness to respond to the scandal, and has yet to comment on the liability issues it could face if it does let Del Rosario loose again.
It comes as fellow students rallied around her and slammed the victim, with another future doctor, Ewen Liu, even claiming the missed injection was 'karma-tic' for him mocking her.
Del Rosario, a fourth-year student, was widely condemned for claiming on Twitter to have purposefully missed the patient's vein so she would have to jab him twice.

In many years as a medical professional, in four star institutions and in some not-so-four-star, I have worked with many health care workers of all levels and many patients. I have never heard anyone say they were glad to have hurt a patient.
This story - I read it two weeks ago- makes me sick. It is different from all previous health care horror stories ever, the way other progressive ideological philosophies are different.
If wake Forest does not dismiss the student, or otherwise credibly shows that they will act to show that they will not normalize this it will be showing an ideology that there are some patient behaviors that will warrant abuse of patients by health care professionals
People will either run from any MD with a Wake Forest degree on thir wall or others will follow, turning the US further into uncharted territory

Already sociopaths. I mean, most docs who think they are god do so in their own little world. The smart ones, after years of being shocked and amazed how wrong they can be, get over themselves.
If I were the patient I would look into malpractice litigation against her, the University, and the hospital. Gotta’ be worth a cool few million at least. It would “curb her enthusiasm” for being so righteously offended.
Because white men are not permitted to become doctors or to other paths of power and competency as a precursor to white genocide.

My husband was recently in the hospital. Over the last few years he has been in and out for surgeries, burns, as an Inpatient. First time ever this year for his inpatient stay two nurses come in and say “We are now going to do a 4 eyes check”. I said what is that? They said both of us are going to check him for any sores or brusies and note his chart. So they checked his back, legs, butt, chest, arms, face.
When visiting an office where you need some service done, leave your politics outside. Why comment on a polarizing topic and subject yourself to a mistreatment by a woke service provider? Talk about weather.
I’m old enough to remember when there were ethical standards for medical standards.
The lawyers of any hospital or medical group she applies to knows she's going to cost a fortune in potential lawsuits if they hire her. The lawyers of any plaintiffs suing for a patient even remotely under her care is going to drag out her social media admission of intentionally harming a patient.

When the war here starts, that “medical school” will be considered a barracks and a fair target.

If she is a 4th year medical student she should graduate in a few weeks, correct?
If so the University is just stalling for time to get rid of her via graduation instead of expelling her and risking lawsuit.

Don’t be an ass.
While good advice, it misses the point. You should not HAVE to censor yourself to get proper care. We have been doing that for years while those on the Left have been allowed to say anything and everything they want. The result? Their world view is now the accepted norm because there has been no alternative allowed to be expressed. This young woman should have been expelled from medical school as soon as she posted on social media. This is inexcusable behavior for someone who is training to be a caregiver.
The medical industry milked the “gay AIDS infected can give blood” conscious PC mantra to create unconsciously a hatred of gays and anyone infected, resulting in the covid social (and not just physical, words do matter) distancing.
The same is going on with wokeness appearing in the medical industry in order to create a social hatred of each other or any kind of person.
The whole exercise is absolute psy op mind control cynicism.
We are seeing the ground prepared for future mass genocide and civil war, neighbors murdering neighbors allowed.
Remember. These people want us dead. Their souls are filled with evil and hate. Sounds minor to just miss a vein. What’s next? Wrong blood type during a transfusion? Wrong medication. “Oopsie”
