No, it’s an insult to his holdings, whatever quality it represents. The worse the quality, the deeper the insult.
I wonder how Will got himself into this situation. With this greater knowledge of his life story, how come it seems different than the kind of guy he depicts on the screen? (Nt being sarcastic, just wondering.)

On the other hand, it really wasn’t a terrible insult, and she was being an exhibitionist about her so-called alopecia, whereas all the photos show a stubble that was evenly grown all over her head—no empty patches. But even if she really does have it, going bald to the Oscars to make a show of it would be like someone who had lost an eye deciding not to wear her prosthetic eye or eyepatch on the night her husband was to be honored, and have all the press swarming to take pictures of her gaping eye hole instead of him. Her stunt was not worth the honor. And he was probably cocained up.
As a kid, growing up in the late 50’s early 60’s, I watched the Lone Ranger and Tonto every Saturday afternoon.

My guess is this played into it some.
Looking back, I am so glad that I did not live in a home like that. I took me a long time to realize how few children can count on a home governed by unviolated trust like I had.
