Alex Crawford travels to the town of Irpin, north of Kyiv, where Ukraine says it has driven out Russian forces.

The town has seen some of the heaviest fighting in recent weeks as Russian troops attempted to edge their way to Kyiv.

However, Moscow said this week it was “cutting back” its operations in the north of the country.

NorseViking himself was telling the forum how the Poles are “human rights violators” for turning back the Islamic refugees Putin sent from Belarus.

Mac_truck is probably as knee deep in Russian BS as Norse, but Mac doesn’t have an excuse. Norse does since he’s a Russian bot getting paid to post BS on the forum.

The original attacks on both Kiev and Kherson were obviously meant to be coups de main, depending on subverted leadership and a collapse in morale. It came off in Kherson but failed in Kiev.

Shock and awe on Poland will be entirely the other way. Russian forces have shown their incompetence and incoherence, and technological backwardness besides. Fighting on two fronts, vs Poland (and all its allies), will moreover put the Russian army under impossible strain.

LOL. 60% of the Ukrainian air was bombed on the ground, then up to a dozen shot down every day, until their numbers dwindled. Poland doesn’t have so many jets or airbases to start with. It is going to be a target poor environment after three days.

There won’t be Polish allies involved. The war against Poland won’t be as restricted in terms of collateral damage as you see in Ukraine.

So that would have put NV on the side of the EU, which wasn’t happy with the Poles. I am getting whipsawed here, I tell you.

Orwell would have had fun with all this.

On that topic, I should have taken that bet about Russia not invading Ukraine as you assured me. Of course, your dumb ass would have ended up paying me with fifty Rubles instead of real money!

Wanna make any other predictions we can bet on? Let's bet on the collapse of the Russian military in Ukraine! But I must insist that you pay me in dollars, not in worthless Rubles. Might want to sell your house so you have the money ready.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is hitting targets inside of Russia with the airforce Russia keeps claiming it has been eliminating and re-eliminating every week since the war started! At this rate, by the time this is over, Russia will claim they've shot down the combined airforce of the entire western world!

Oh I see. What secret reserves would be unleashed on the unhappy Poles? Secret news - there aren’t any such reserves. And the ground forces that you assume are available aren’t available either.

Ukraine started it by increasing Donbas activity, but formally you was right on that, I agree. Even the broken clocks are right twice a day.

Two helicopters can penetrate 20 miles using the river valley to hide from radars, it is not a huge feat.

“The war with Poland won’t be as restricted in terms of collateral damage as you see in Ukraine.”

Indeed. The Ukrainian airforce has been very restrained in its attacks on Russia. Only attacking fuel depots and other military targets across the border.

Poland has a 200 year grudge against the Russians and would show no such restraint. I expect and early move would be reducing the port city Novorossiysk to rubble to cut off Russian resupply.

Hey, considering how much the average Russkie conscript gets beaten and raped by his superiors, as is known, would it really matter if Russia somehow conjured into existence an entirely new army?

They'd die in Poland like they're dying in Ukraine!

With what assets? Warsaw is going to be in ruins after a couple hours and the Polish would put their government on pitchforks for entering the war.

Tricking human beings into thinking you are sentient, Moskal, is the real huge feat!

Take a load of this, Renfrew! Even the Putinist trolls on FR seem to repeat the error of Putin: assuming that their victims everywhere will just give up.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of Insanity. Russkies never learned it!

“Warsaw is going to be in ruins after a couple hours”

Russia can’t get the forces organized to take Kharkiv which is 10 miles from the Russian border.

They have no forces that could even touch Warsaw.

Big whoop. Bombs have to be carried by planes that will be illuminated by US AWACs all the way, and interception will be done by NATO integrated air defense systems. Air assets will be pan-Nato, as everything is in range of Poland.

They would have to try suppress dozens of Nato radars and airfields.

And then they will have to try to defend Russian assets, because, by the madness of this scenario, it will mean general war. Thats hundreds of PGM raids on every strategic site in Western Russia.

The Poles I know will demand a crusade to Moscow.
They will be madder than even the Ukrainians.
