The threat of a leftist takeover of law enforcement is real. We have seen the results, and they are disastrous.
When Joe Biden read from his State of the Union script about the unprecedented crime wave we are now facing (thanks to leftist policies), he stated: “The answer is to fund the police.” At that, the Democrats in Congress leaped to their feet to applaud, however insincerely. But after eight years of supporting the lies of Black Lives Matter Marxists and leftist elites—that American policing is systemically racist, cops are routinely hunting unarmed black men, and that the real answer to alleviating crime is to empty the jails and defund the police—their phoniness was palpable.
On crime and policing, most Americans correctly see the Democrats as fakes. The Democrats are terrified because the poll numbers are coming in, and they are desperate to escape a righteous political reckoning in November.
Still, it would be a big mistake to believe that the radical Left hates the idea of policing altogether. They have no problem with the police if they can control the mission. In a way, the police are just another tool of the regime. Everything depends upon what they are asked to do. If the original mission of ensuring public safety and justice by putting criminals in jail is subverted and then twisted into one of totalitarian enforcement of elitist power at the expense of the working class, then you will find no more enthusiastic supporter of the police than a leftist. Achieving this transformation is one of the ultimate goals of today’s leftist elites—and they are making headway.

The enemy of the left is not criminals, it is those who oppose leftism/communism. I would expect leftist law enforcement to take the worst of what the blue cities do.

The FBI has already become the KGB and the Patriots who protested a stolen election are still rotting in the DC Gulag waiting for trials in the one place least likely to give them a fair trial. There’s nothing conservative about the police when they do anything beyond arresting accused criminals. The founders of this country would have been appalled to see what “law enforcement” has become in the U.S.

I, and a hellofalot of others agree, but until we prosecute those responsible for the coup of 2020, they will keep pushing forward. We may pick up a few seats, here and there, but until we lock up the sumbeaches that did this, it will get WORSE. I think we really do need an “insurrection”, but not another bunch of grannies taking selfies.

The leftwing nuts are already running most police departments now. What a joke. Pretty soon, the only job whitey is going to be able to land is a “fries guy” position.
I believe that the real goal of the Media-Dem Party is to increase crime to such levels that the American people demand that the government “do something”. That something will be the federalization of all police, which will then become the enforcement arm of the Media-Dem Party. We already see a steady stream of blacks, women, lesbian “chiefs of police” parading across our TV screens, we already see police ordered to “stand down” whenever the Media-Dem Party’s footsoldiers take to the streets to riot, loot, vandalize, and burn or, in the case of Charlottesville, stand by and watch them attack people who had a permit to demonstrate, and in Denver when a “Back the Blue” rally was attacked.

The author is missing the fact that (at least in the USA) the federalization and federal political control of local police was a deliberate DOJ policy, pushed by Obama and Holder
They formed BLM exactly for this purpose.
