The illegal alien population has ballooned since Joe Biden took office by one million, bringing the national overall total to 15.5 million at a taxpayer cost of $143.1 billion a year.
Just over the course of Biden's first year as president the cost to taxpayers for the new one million illegals is $9.4 billion.
“President Biden and the people he appointed to key positions in his administration have pursued the most radical open-borders policies in the history of any sovereign nation, and these new numbers bear that out,” Dan Stein, president of FAIR, said in the announcement of the analysis, “If not for the COVID pandemic, which forced the administration to keep Title 42 in place last year, the additional influx and costs to American taxpayers would have been far greater.”

Things here are going to be “crazy” during the next 5 days. Tomorrow is the end of the work week and the last Friday in Ramadan. Now, towards sundown, people who are not normally out at this time, go out and about gathering up street food in order to start munching ASAP. Things are heavy on sweets and dining is emphasized as soon as the sun sets toward late nights and begin again about an hour before dawn. At that time food is scarfed down in order to sustain a person throughout the day. People are not supposed to eat OR DRINK during the daylight hours. (They do, however. It is just not in public. Actually, many GAIN weight during the Ramadan fast.) So, tomorrow will be the last work day of the fast. Then Saturday, everyone will be in the food stores stocking up. All the stores close on Sunday. That is normal procedure, nothing special.
But, Monday and Tuesday are the Idul Fitri (Eee-dule Fee-tree) celebrations. Huge buffets of food are offered in various homes. You go visiting around and enjoy hospitality. Two days! Stores, however, are closed. That is why you stock up on Saturday. They may reopen about 1600 Tuesday. There won’t be any new stocks until Thursday or Friday. Everything will be picked over and sold out.
But it is a HUGE-MONGOUS holiday. So, if you are an introvert, like me, you avoid swimming, stores, and restaurants. It will be crazy. Time to hide away and read a book.
