A real estate agent has revealed how she's amassed a $10,000 vintage clothes collection - because she's obsessed with living like she's in the 1940s.
Gwendolyn Erin Patterson, 25, from Dallas, Texas, says she's so fixated with wearing wartime fashion that she now refuses to leave her house unless she's sporting glamorous attire from the Second World War era.

Maybe stop being a sensitive whiner.
You view it as woman bashing because you dont like what is said. Other view it as informative because they arent biased like you to never admit anything bad about women. Tell me what is incorrect about telling people not to judge a book by its cover.
Women hide the truth about themselves. What do you think makeup is? Wigs? Veneers? Spanx? Shoes that adjust height and posture? Hair coloring? Bra inserts? Butt padding? Plastic surgery? Fake tanning?
Good grief. Grow up and get thicker skin and maybe respond unemotionally to posts instead of just calling whatever you dont like “bashing”. I can back up my posts with actual thoughts and logic and examples. You just try this weak lame shaming crap and its just so fake and shallow.
She looks very pretty in those outfits.

Regards,
I was gonna say that there is a fondness for that time period in the military as well, with the reintroduction of “pinks and greens”.

Back when women’s clothes were designed by men who actually liked women, not boys.
The Beatles, who were thought by many adults to be scruffy, dressed rather well. I long for the old days.
Wow, look at all these guys who are TOTALLY OKAY with a gal spending $10,000 on old clothes!
*writes down all the names*
I have a friend whose daughters do this too. They love to dress up like an old movie classic they will watch.
Love the styles from the 1940s....Classy clothes, both women and men.....
Better $10 K on nice vintage clothing than $10 K on Lulemoon.
And can I include you on the secondary list of “men who will pay in on $10,000 worth of old clothing”......?
“Better $10 K on nice vintage clothing than $10 K on Lulemoon.”
That reminds me of a story! (everyone groans)
Back in the early/mid 1990s I had a gal friend who was WAY into “vintage clothing.” I have some vintage type clothing myself but they have brand-new stuff like that now so you don’t have to spend hours and hours shopping. I’m particularly fond of “skater” type dresses (tight in the bodice, narrow waist, big flared skirt) myself.
Anyway this chick had an enormous amount of vintage duds including shoes, hats, etc. Her boyfriend who owned the house where they both lived had actually bought the house because it had a “clothes room” where this gal could keep all of her outfits.
She and I were about the same size so every so often she would jettison a few outfits and I would benefit from that. I had a 1950s-style brown suit (little brown jacket, brown pencil type skirt) that I used to wear on temp assignments in offices. PEOPLE HATED IT!!!! I got so many negative comments on my “old, baggy” suit. Kinda funny.
PS: I have no idea what Lulemoon is.
She’s adorable. Dita Von Teese dresses like that too and has a 40s car and house decked out in 40s accessories. It’s fun.
His website also looks like it was built in the 40s lol.
Don’t forget to pick up oil to mix with gas for the washing machine 🤠
Class you don’t see much if it now days.
Speaking from the point of having a horse and a gun habit, she is a noob 🤣
Sounds about right.
You never miss beat when it comes to your woman bashing. Idiot!
