Better $10 K on nice vintage clothing than $10 K on Lulemoon.
And can I include you on the secondary list of “men who will pay in on $10,000 worth of old clothing”......?
“Better $10 K on nice vintage clothing than $10 K on Lulemoon.”
That reminds me of a story! (everyone groans)
Back in the early/mid 1990s I had a gal friend who was WAY into “vintage clothing.” I have some vintage type clothing myself but they have brand-new stuff like that now so you don’t have to spend hours and hours shopping. I’m particularly fond of “skater” type dresses (tight in the bodice, narrow waist, big flared skirt) myself.
Anyway this chick had an enormous amount of vintage duds including shoes, hats, etc. Her boyfriend who owned the house where they both lived had actually bought the house because it had a “clothes room” where this gal could keep all of her outfits.
She and I were about the same size so every so often she would jettison a few outfits and I would benefit from that. I had a 1950s-style brown suit (little brown jacket, brown pencil type skirt) that I used to wear on temp assignments in offices. PEOPLE HATED IT!!!! I got so many negative comments on my “old, baggy” suit. Kinda funny.
PS: I have no idea what Lulemoon is.
