600mph to 0 in 25 feet. (25ft was how deep a Lockheed Electra augured in back in 1960 here in Indiana).
That a LOT of g’s.

Maybe someone who was supposed to be on the flight missed it and they were making sure that the passenger manifest matched the number of heads counted.

Correct. The FDR and CVR are put in the tail because they are more likely to survive an impact in the tail.

When a plane plunges almost vertically into the ground, it is doubtful that they will ever find all 132 bodies, let alone 132 heads.
When UA flight 93 made a similar crash near here on 9/11/01, they had to settle for personal belongings and DNA fragments,

From what I can tell, there was a Chinese telecom executive named Fang Fang that was onboard the flight, not the Swalwell honeypot spy.

Only in China they bury survivors. The old joke dose not apply. Yes it was suicide. You have to guide a descent that steep. The plane naturally wants to pull up and appears intact.

When I said “heads”, I was referring to the actual head count the flight attendants take after everyone is settled into their seats. The “official” manifest the airline had could have said 132, but someone could have missed the flight or someone on standby was allowed on at the last minute, altering the official manifest.

What if the Uyghurs shot it down?
Or the Tibetan monks?
Our a “stray” missile test?
Or, pilot error?

Back when the Lockheed Electra wings were coming off in flight, one of the crash reports said that the airplane was below the bottom of a 30 foot deep crater. The entire fuselage was compacted into a length of only 30 feet.
Original length was 104.5 feet.

China's Civil Aviation Administration (CAAC) said they have identified 120 of the victims using DNA testing, including 114 passengers and six crew members. This claim makes me think they are lying.

I read that an impact like that explodes the human body and nothing is left. How could they confirm the dead? They are lying. They lie to make it look like China is uber competent, but this lie is so extreme, it just makes them look like they are lying.

They find bits and pieces. Sometimes there’s, say a wallet soaked in clear fluid. They bag the wallet and test the fluid, which is likely from the owner’s body.

My guess: A misunderstanding between the Flight Management System and the human in the cockpit.

The speed that plane hit pointing straight to the ground, id say every person was compacted into 40’ round by 80 ft deep impact crater.

1- no survivors at crash site
2- number of fatalities are counted by
a- boarding passes scanned
b- quite frankly...there’s a reason it’s called a “head count”
Pardon the TMI

Has happened before with the 737-800.
Especially around mountains, but not always (Houston).

Don’t forget that Chinese citizens have to have permission to travel. Every citizen has a cellphone which monitors their location.
