Phil has some serious health issues and wish him well. It’s a shame they can’t continue performing. However I wish they would continue recording and perhaps they will.

I just finished reading Phil’s autobiography. He was very insecure of his position in Genesis. That’s amazing to me, since I thought he MADE them.

I’ve been a fan since the very beginning. Saw them live in Houston, in a small coliseum in the early 70’s, when Gabriel was prancing around in a dick costume. I was happy to see him leave. That’s when the band really started to take off.

Phil’s had a hectic life. Those guys performed a LOT! I saw them 5 times, over a period of almost 40 years… three different cities, two continents. Last time was in Olympic stadium in Munich. They went a long way from a dump hall in Houston.

Hasn’t Phil been working because some ex-wife was taking him to the cleaners in recent years? He may have plenty of ongoing cash flow with royalties and licensing his music and whatnot, though.
