The Hostile Takeover of the Republican Party Will Continue
American Thinker ^ | 26 Mar, 2022 | J.B. Shurk

Being a Republican voter is no easy thing. Social media censor you. Companies fire you. The Department of Justice persecutes you. Democrats assault and harass you. And all the while, most Republican Party "leaders" stand back and do nothing as they watch. We've got the only political party in modern history controlled by a small group of elected officials who fundamentally disagree with the prevailing viewpoints of 90% of the voters who put them in office. Election after election, their unstated yet indisputable campaign slogan is simply, "Vote for us because we don't hate you quite as much as the other guys." (I'm not even sure that's true!)

This disconnect between Republican voters and Republican oligarchs has endured for decades, but I do not think it will survive much longer. The reason why is that the average Joe has figured out D.C.'s Uniparty game: take one "ruling class" dedicated to power and money and nothing more, divide that small class of swindlers into two nearly identical political parties, pretend those two criminal cabals hate each other when the opposite is true, and present the American people with a choice-in-name-only every election. You can vote for the Big Government socialists invested in totalitarianism or the Big Government socialists invested in empire and world domination. (Note: The parties may swap that small distinction depending on the decade.) That's American "democracy" in a nutshell — a hallowed ritual for electing criminals to positions of power from where they can commit even grander crimes with impunity in the name of the people. In exchange for their dedication to fleecing and betraying us, we christen streets, marble halls, and naval vessels after their worst offenders.

Too often true, “The GOP does what the Democrats do, they just do it slower.” Lacking any viable alternative, the leadership knows it has the conservative vote over the increasingly liberal Democrats, so they seek to appeal to some moderates of the latter class. They are not seeking God’s “vote” and abuse voters which are.

Spot on. RINOs are enemy #1. If a RINO gets the nomination in any race I will sit it out and watch the Democrat get elected. I would rather burn the Republican Party to the ground than continue to allow RINOs to run it. We must have a party that actually speaks for us. If that is the Republicans, fine. If it must be destroyed like the Whigs so that another party can arise, I’m fine with that too.

Ds are much easier to vote out than RINOs, so give me short term pain for long term gain.

An extraterrestrial robot and spaceship has just landed on earth. The robot steps out of the spaceship…

“I come in peace,” it said, adding after a long moment, “take me to your Lizard.”

Ford Prefect, of course, had an explanation for this: “It comes from a very ancient democracy, you see…”

“You mean, it comes from a world of lizards?”

“No,” said Ford, “nothing so simple. Nothing anything like so straightforward. On its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people.”

“Odd,” said Arthur, “I thought you said it was a democracy.”

“I did,” said Ford. “It is.”

“So,” said Arthur, hoping he wasn’t sounding ridiculously obtuse, “why don’t the people get rid of the lizards?”

“It honestly doesn’t occur to them,” said Ford. “They’ve all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they’ve voted in more or less approximates to the government they want.”

“You mean they actually vote for the lizards?”

“Oh yes,” said Ford with a shrug, “of course.”

“But,” said Arthur, going for the big one again, “why?”

“Because if they didn’t vote for a lizard,” said Ford, “the wrong lizard might get in.”

Post no. one talked about nothing changing. We need to have a constitutional admendment that uncouples Law Enforcements subserviance to the leading politician in every realm. Ensuring LE can do its job will help to drain the swamp.

The intelligence agencies should also be held to an American Interests (bound by laws and treaties) first applied with common sense.

The courts too are a place for putting the legal system under the Law. If a case reaches an impasse where “new case law” is required it should go to the State or the National legistative bodies to rewrite laws in keeping with the ruling held in abeyance until properly written into law thus allowing the judge to dust off the case and issue a decision.

Nothing much will change until The Turtle is gone.

I think that ALL 535 should be sent home and a new batch elected. Sadly a couple of good ones have to be discarded but to begin to clear the swamp all need to go. Then all of the alphabet agencies need to be flushed.
