The Ropers!
Just kidding. My vote is the theme from the first season of Starsky and Hutch: https://youtu.be/rqajVHN7hfc

Jonny Quest needs to be played loud. The horn section is amazing… and the guitarists Big Moment - one little “bliiiing” - is perfect right where it is…

((“Well it’s a Jungle Out There” theme from the Monk TV Show.))
Very similar or same to the theme from “Dexter”. Love it.

Hard to pick just one but Sanford and Son is a great one. I just learned it was written by Quincy Jones.
Night Rider is a classic that I haven’t seen mentioned yet.

So good Mel Brooks made reference to it in Blazing Saddles, and Spaceballs.

Beowulf9:
Thanks for posting what became a truly great thread!
We all need it right now.
To: Widget Jr
Thank you. I needed it too.
I was way too little to watch and understand this show but my mother evidently did. As a kid I only noticed the catchy theme song so I named my first cat K.C. for kittycat and after Casey.
