All that bronco riding paid off.
Darned right I would keep on going. I wouldn’t wait around to see what else could happen.
I hate when that happens!
That looks like something you would see from a 1920’s Sepia toned silent movie. The whole family dressed in their Sunday Best taking a drive in the Model-T. Then suddenly, it gets windy, real windy. Hold on to your hats!
My son was driving around in that storm yesterday. I said, go park your freaking car.
That is all in a day’s work in tornado country.
The truly masterful touch was not captured in the video - he didn’t spill his beer!
Classic case of climate change and run.
These were more “gustnadoes,” still dangerous, but relatively weak, short lived spin-ups on the leading edge of a storm.
Could me wrong, but sounded like the one filming starts to chuckle at the end. I might as well seeing the person is alright and just keeps driving.
Is that a Chevy? Would make for a good truck commercial. Better than the Timex byline.
It’s a storm chaser’s dream to capture video like that.
If you’re going through hell...
DON’T STOP!

I’m sure he had a chance to set his beer down, I love that he gathered his senses at took off, if you ever go through Elgin find the Elgin sausage , dang good!
And he probably headed straight to a bar or home to change his shorts.
Insurance has all the proof they need (act of nature).
Dont” know what kind of truck it was but need to make a commercial...tornado tough!
I hope he had a change of pants handy.
I was anticipating a tractor-trailer not a Pick-Up.
He did well, especially considering how young he was!
“Amazingly, the driver, who storm chaser Marcus Reynolds estimated to be a 16- to 17-year-old boy, kept driving down the road. The driver suffered only a cut on his arm, according to Reynolds, who said he let the boy use his phone to call his parents.”
