That is all in a day’s work in tornado country.
The truly masterful touch was not captured in the video - he didn’t spill his beer!
“ That is all in a day’s work in tornado country.”
Reminds me of once my bride and I were driving up to Colorado for a ski trip, and got up in the Texas panhandle. Horizon to horizo treeless flatlands of plowed fields. Saw big dust devils in the fields on both sides at the same time, which we had never seen before. Presently we came to a little town, and on the side of the water tower was painted “TORNADOS”. I go, “what, do they paint the weather report on the water tower here?” But then it hit me it was probably the name of the high school football team.
So we pulled into the Dairy Queen in the town for a quick bite, and there were a couple of (looked like) old ranchers their dusty rumpled stetsons, in a booth having their coffee, that you could hear talking. One was saying nonchalantly he was stopped at the stop sign where the farm road hit the highway on the way over, and a twister came along and threw him pickup and trailer into the bar ditch. ( Relating this with about as much excitement as having to stop for a railroad crossing or air up a tire ).
