When the going gets tough, the tough get going, and the weak walk away. When Palin was viscously under attack, as governor, by her political opponents, she quit and walked away. No thanks.

Trump is a billionaire. Palin was NOT wealthy while in office as Governor. She was having to personally pay (thanks to Alaska ethics laws regarding the Governor’s office) to defend herself against one frivolous lawsuit after another. She did not have the money to combat it while having to pay for the expenses of her own large family (including one with a special needs child). The goal was to bankrupt her and drive her deep into debt (millions) to pay attorneys’ fees.
You simply cannot compare Trump to Palin in that regard. He is rich and had armies of lawyers on retainer to fight such lawsuits. She was a working class individual. How’d you like to work a job where every day you were having to face more and more legal bills into the hundreds of thousands or millions and no way to stop it except to quit ? That was the choice she had, and unfortunately, she had to take it. Most of us here comprehend that. Others choose to make cheap shots at her while ignoring the real financial situation she was faced. Can you get along without money ?
