ATLANTA - A fight over a bowling ball ends with one woman shot to death in southwest Atlanta, police say.
Officers responded shortly after 11:30 p.m. Thursday to reports of shots fired outside the Metro Fun Center at a shopping center on the 1900 block of Metropolitan Parkway.
Investigators say the night started as a celebration, but quickly turned into a fight that spilled into the parking lot.
"We will work this case through the night. We will find the person responsible," Woolfolk said. "You know who you are. Go ahead and turn yourself in. We assure you that we will bring you into custody."

“I wonder what the cones are for?”
That’s the “No Drive-By Zone”
That's a big reason why my choice for combat arms was Air Defense Artillery. I didn't know at the time that ADA's unofficial motto was, "We Eat Our Young".
I had no plans of making it a career, and I had a couple of superiors who made sure I'd never make Major...lol. Suffice it to say I've never been able to work well with micro-managers. No complaints, though. Had a couple of great assignments: during my 4 years in Germany, I lived in Traben-Trabach, and my daily commute took me through the Urziger Wurzgarten vineyards.
Had 4 pretty good years at Fort Bliss, where I met my wife.
Life’s cheap in the hood.
Young thug can be a lot of people.
where my kid works its “Canadians”
LOL, murders/melees at family reunions, Stop The Violence rallies, Kindergarten/Middle school “graduation” parties, Chuck E Cheeze, Red Lobster, fast food drive-thrus, Airport gate waiting areas, and now a “Fun” center? I’ve begun to sense a pattern...
Well, it’s been that way my entire time in Atlanta.

Artillery. By the time you hear it coming it’s too late.
Thanks for your service.
I texted that to my BFF (Who was banned from here for something or another years ago). She called me on the phone giggling, and then emailed me a poem she just wrote. Doggerel she called it, but she was busy watching some serial killer show on Prime, in French, and had to pay attention to the substitles. Anyway, she wrote a lot of stuff years ago that was pretty good on civil rights and things. You can tell this one was rushed.
Life is Hard!!!
By Squeeky Fromm, Girl Reporter
Life is hard -
On Trayvon Martin Boulevard!
The windows at the chicken joint,
Are impervious to hollow point!
The five year-olds all carry bats,
The ten year-olds are strapped with gats,
By thirteen, they are jacking cars,
By fifteen, hooking johns at bars.
Chuck E Cheese is a battle zone,
For Women of Color on testosterone.
And Father’s Day??? Whatever goes-
Only Maury Povich knows!
Life is but a constant brawl,
And stomping heads in a free-for-all,
School is just a place to go
Until you are 16 years or so.
You pass along from grade to grade,
So the Teachers, they can all get paid.
Reading, and ‘rithmathick - you see -
The black kids ask - “Yo, wat dat be???
Then, every year a month is set aside -
To celebrate, believe it or not - Black Pride!
But by far the biggest, bestest joke-
Is that America was built by these folk!
Yes, you see - Life is Hard
On Trayvon Martin Boulevard.
And as long as we pretend that we don’t see -
This is the best it will ever be.
