I was born here, and I’ve lived here (in the area, if not the city proper) all my life, long before Seattle became what it is now both politically and socially. I stay here because of my family, my children and grandchildren. I can’t stand the FR bigots who judge me because of where I live.
I'm not a bigot, but that was so nancy pelosi of you to say of me.
I was just commenting on the cultural rot that has set in Seattle.
In 1980 Seattle looked like a nice city with beautiful scenery.
Do us all a favor and stay in Seattle, we don’t need more liberals moving to conservative safe havens.
I was born and lived her most of my life too. I am amazed at how much people on FR are turning on each other since the invasion started.
I live north of Seattle and moved my office here ten years ago. Lived in Seattle for a while in the early 70s and had a small office in Seattle for 35 years.
I stay here, like you, because of children, grandchildren and business.
It is very sad how Seattle fell into Dante’s Hell.
I’ve been on the Oregon coast for a long time. Of late, there have been very hard left types moving here from fly-over country, trying to lecture us on what backwater racists we are. The Pacific Northwest has no monopoly on lefties.
I have visited the Seattle area, there are lots of natural beauty to enjoy. Understand about your family, they are important. Just don’t take a criticism of Seattle as personal..
