I was born here, and I’ve lived here (in the area, if not the city proper) all my life, long before Seattle became what it is now both politically and socially. I stay here because of my family, my children and grandchildren. I can’t stand the FR bigots who judge me because of where I live

In 1980 Seattle looked like a nice city with beautiful scenery.

My comment was not directed at you, but at people over the years who make snide comments about my screen name and dismiss my opinion because of where I’m from. It’s the flip side of northerners who regard all southerners as uneducated hicks.
