White House Alters Transcript to Cover for Kamala Harris' Stupidity
PJ Media ^ | March 15, 2022 | Robert Spencer

You heard it. I heard it. The whole world heard it. Even CNN reported it. PJM’s Matt Margolis reported on it here. At the winter meeting of the Democratic National Committee in Washington on Saturday, Kamala Harris said: “The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people in defense of the NATO alliance.” Now, Ukraine is not actually in NATO, and so standing firmly with the Ukrainian people would not actually be an act in defense of the NATO alliance, and of all people, the person pretending to be vice president of the United States should know that. So over at WhiteHouse.gov, the ever-helpful anonymous wonks who record every august word and deed of the socialists, clowns, puppets, freaks, and saboteurs responsible for this period of American misrule knew that they had to do something to prevent the American people from realizing just how oblivious and out of touch our putative vice president really is. Voilá! Now it has her saying: “The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people [and] in defense of the NATO Alliance.”

Sure, the “and” is in brackets, so the White House gremlins are tacitly admitting that she didn’t really say it. But the correction itself reduces an obvious revelation that the ostensible vice president is woefully ignorant of the basic things every public official should know to a simple slip of the tongue. She meant to say “and” and didn’t; that’s all, MAGA rubes! Haven’t you ever had something come out the wrong way?

Harris "Heels Up" acts as Biden's "bodyguard" so to speak, she being next in line of succession.

Kamala Harris

Hey, if senile Sleepy Joe's handlers made YOU the Vice President of the United States for no apparent reason, you'd be laughing your aarse off 24/7/365, too, just like the Laughing Hyena Headboard! So cut Kamala a little slack, ok?

BTW, that's how Kamala reacted live on-air on that radio talk show when the interviewer informed her of the breaking news that senile Sleepy Joe's handlers just chose her as his VP running mate.

The scene is in my garage. My kids want to play White House. My 10 year old Joe wants to be POTUS, and his younger 6 year old sister Kamala wants to be the VPOTUS. So, Kamala takes the toy microphone and says, reading from a piece of paper written in crayon,

“Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine so, basically, that’s wrong.”

Does anyone see any difference between these two VPOTUS?

the kamala harris trainwreck, as broadcast, comes under “official records”, and are subject to the same law that pelosi broke in ripping up 45’s speech.

But Neil did actually say “a” man. His words were garbled by the radio transmission from the moon (not some hidden studio in Burbank).

But Neil did actually say “a” man. His words were garbled by the radio transmission from the moon

I've heard that argument for literally 50 years, that he really did say the "a" but a too-aggressive VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) circuit cut off the "a."

But unfortunately there are recordings, and there isn't enough space between "for" and "Man" to put in an "a."

And you can hear Neil pause after saying "man," as if contemplating that he screwed up his carefully rehearsed line and debating whether he should correct himself, then apparently decides to "eff" it and finishes the sentence very quickly "giantleapforMankind."

Probably followed by a muttered "s#!t" under his breath.

Video of the infamous quote, cued up at the phrase: https://youtu.be/J6jplPkbe8g?t=15

And here is an article from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum:

https://airandspace.si.edu/stories/editorial/one-small-step-man-or-man

On July 16, 2019, we put Neil Armstrong's spacesuit back on display after 13 years. It is displayed in a special case that will help us preserve it while on display. The conditions inside the sealed glass case replicate the Museum’s ideal storage conditions as closely as possible, with the light will be at a low level to avoid the cumulative damage that prolonged light exposure can have on textiles, and a climate system will maintain the cool, dry, environment that is essential to preserving our spacesuit collection. The case also features Neil Armstrong's famous quote: the words he spoke when he became the first person to set foot on the Moon: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

Since unveiling the exhibiton and sharing photos online, we have gotten a number of questions about the quote in the case, specifically about whether an "a" belongs in front of the word "man." We talked to spacesuit curator Cathleen Lewis about why the quote is presented the way it is:

"After decades of audio analysis and the conclusion of historian James R. Hansen, the museum accepts that Armstrong said “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,"" Lewis explained. " No matter what his intention had been, he omitted the “a” between for and man. Since there was no written script, we only had the option to quote the words as spoken."

There you have it straight from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
