Considering what happened to Russians in Odessa a few years ago I don’t think the Russian military is going to treat them with kid gloves
The Ukrainians have been preparing for the Russian landing near Odessa for 3 weeks.
I think even you know how this will end.
Preliminary analysis of the vessels suggests 3 groups. Two are made up of combatants, and one has several landing ships. The landing ships appear to have sailed directly from their staging position off the Crimean coast. Analysts are searching the imagery for more vessels.
The northern group, in a line-astern formation, appears to be led by a tug boat. Behind it are two Ropucha class landing ships, another tug boat and a trailing Ropucha.
The second group, in the middle, are in a square formation. These appear to be smaller warships such as missile corvettes.
The southern group is led by the Slava Class cruiser Moskva. This appears to have two Alligator class landing ships, and the Ivan Gren class landing ship Pyotr Morgunov. There is also a smaller warship, possibly a Buyan-M class missile corvette.

The Russian troops in Transexual Transylvania near Moldova will try to advance from the West.
Russians won’t have any help from the East since they failed to take Mykolaiv.
Well, these are the Russian Marines that mutinied 10 days ago so I doubt they’ll attack effectively. Probably just going there to surrender and turn over their weapons so they can walk into Romania like the conscripts have been doing.

Russian landing teams haven’t drilled night landings. And their night landing west of Mariupol 2 weeks ago was a disaster. We’ll see what happens tonight and tomorrow morning.
