Texas elementary school sparks fury with woke lesson segregating kids by hair color then branding blond children stupid before showing them AUTOPSY photos of black girls murdered in KKK church bombing

Parents in Texas have told of their anger after their fifth grade daughter was left in tears after an immersive introduction to segregation before being shown autopsy photos of four black children murdered by the Ku Klux Klan.

Students at Leon Springs Elementary in San Antonio, which has 524 pupils from kindergarten to fifth grade, were taught about segregation in January.

During the class, the children were separated into groups of dark haired and fair haired students.

They were then given a series of tasks and duties.

The dark-haired students were deemed privileged, and told they were superior, with youngsters who had blond or red hair deemed less intelligent and inferior.

Both sets of students were given a puzzle to complete, but the light-haired students had a piece missing.

The light-haired students also had to clean up after the other group at the end of the exercise.

Mike and Brandi Lininger told News4SA that their ten-year-old daughter was upset by the lesson, and that some of her classmates were reduced to tears.

'She was hurt, her friends, and she named to the principal and to district officials, names of her friends that were crying,' said Brandi Lininger.

She said the class was also shown Spike Lee's 1997 documentary, 4 Little Girls, about the 1963 bombing of an Alabama church by the KKK.

our African-American girls around the same ages as the class - between the ages of 11 and 14 - died in the attack.

The film includes graphic autopsy photos of the girls' bodies.

The class teacher said she fast-forwarded the autopsy pictures, but the Lininger's said the children in their daughter's class did see the graphic photos.

'The things that she said that she skipped over, my daughter was able to describe to us to a T,' said

“The same thing that’s happening pretty much everywhere else. This crap has been here for some time. It’s just “hidden” a little better. Scratch the surface in some parts and you’d be surprised at what you might find. In others, it’s simply in your face. Many folks choose to not see and/or don’t care.”

As an Honorary Texan by acclamation, I’m appalled.

Telling blondes they are stupid is reinforcing the dumb blonde narrative. The dumb blonde is a cultural fact. A good lawyer could handle it.

AFT has no muscle. Neither does the TSTA. Texas is a right to work state. Unions here do not have pull like other states. They’re basically useless.

I lived in San Antonio in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I would never have thought it would be anything like this by now. So sad. ☹️

Jane Elliott is an American diversity educator. As a schoolteacher, she became known for her "Blue eyes/Brown eyes" exercise, which she first conducted with her third-grade class on April 5, 1968, the day after the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

What the infamous "blue eyes / brown eyes" exercise actually demonstrated is that when groups of people are treated differently by an authority figure, they will divide into antagonistic tribes.

This is now being played out on a national scale.

“Read the title, my friend, unless you
forgot your sarc tag......”

I was just having fun here...FAR TOO MANY conservatives acknowledge that our public schools are rotten, but at the same time claim their schools are exempt from that, which is why the schools keep their monopoly.

In the past, that kind of thing is something that was done to captured enemy soldiers during interrogations.

Actually, this is a variation of something another elementary school teacher did in the 1960s which was pretty effective in teaching what segregation is.

She used blue eyed kids and other eyed kids I think. One day one, the blue eyed kids were privileged, and the next day it was reversed.

It showed that prejudice was an ADULT condition, and that kids didn’t really see color at all.

It was very well done at the time.

This, however, was not.

I never heard the word “segregation” until I was ten years old and Little Rock Central High school was blowing up.
I asked dad and he told me what it was.

I could not believe it! In my early years I had gone to Rocky Mountain schools along with Blacks, Hispanics, American Indians.

Then dad moved us to the Ozarks which was a totally different Hillbilly culture!

I’m happy to know I likely won’t outlive the installment of the generation of children that these twisted minds have indoctrinated…

What is happening to Texas?

University “schools of education” have no geographical boundaries but are ideologically identical. BTW Texas does not have teachers unions rather “educational associations.”

The teacher’s union here is a different animal. Does have big influence with the Lege and Boards.
You are correct, this is a RTW state
But were wrong to say there are no unions.

WHAT THE F@CK?!?

I know very few people who have been "deemed privileged" and most are SELF-DESIGNATED as "privileged" or are politicians! The rest of us have to live life with whatever flows our way...typically DOWNHILL!

This is NOT teaching "about" discrimination.
It is INDOCTRINATING children to believe that a certain group can be RACIST and PRIVILEGED! And then they tell them WHICH GROUP THEY (the children) are supposed to consider as "privileged" and "wrong"!!

Children are naturally open and tolerant. Some children even MORE interested in other kids “who are not like them, and don’t look like them” I myself was like that-—who wants to always be around a mirror?.-I would say OVERWHELMINGLY kids are like that. So this kind of indoctrination serves not only to create guilt among children for something they didn’t do, it also creates a tension between themselves and their parents and grandparent’s generation who had only POSSIBLY some marginal sense of complicity in “the way things were”. But when you get down to it, probably not really any more than these hapless kids. This is SUPPOSED to create hurt, and a particularly helpless kind of hurt, since a child can’t do anything about the past, except fulfill the role these bastards have laid out for them.,One of the most galling things coming primarily from Dems in the past nearly half century is this constant hectoring, lecturing tone when we as white people are reminded that was have to start accepting people who “don’t look like you”-—I personally have never known ANYONE who had this problem, except politicians like Bill Clinton , who was the firs one I heard it from all through the 90s and I do mean ALL through the 90s.
