Cut off from their digital bank accounts and forbidden digital credit.

Yes, they are Russians, but this really could happen to any of us depending on the whims of the corporate wokenocracy.

Fascism like that hardly turns the Russian citizenry against Putin. Just as likely it makes them hate all western institutions.

Cutting off credit to all Russian civilians is bullshit.
They didn’t start a war.

This, and the Canadian truckers [and the second and third cousins of the Canadian truckers] are a lesson to all of us:

If they were each carrying a small wad of US hundred dollar bills in their pockets they would be ok.

At least they’re in Thailand - my favorite WESTPAC port of call.

ABSOLUTELY. Just imagine getting on the wrong side of a future gun confiscation and being in South America or something...de-personed. 40 years ago, people would take Travelers Checks, far harder to de-person someone in another country when they have a stack of them.

It’s almost worth the war just to bring out what can now be done to Americans.

As an aside: this is kinda what a cashless system will let the global elite do to ANYONE.

The Revelation to John says this is what they are heading towards.

This is yet another argument for Crypto Currency. If they had access to crypto, they could turn it into cash in other countries like Thailand. Western governments can’t shut down crypto currencies with a few keystrokes either.

“Cutting off credit to all Russian civilians is bullshit.

Their leader did and now they will pay a price because they allowed Pidor Putin to lead them into a disastrous, ill-conceived, and poorly executed war.

I will say, that if you’re going to get stranded somewhere then Thailand isn’t a bad place. If they play their cards right they’ll catch a ride to India and from there get back to Russia.

Me, I’d stay in Thailand.

Thailand is probably fun when you have money.
They can’t access any money. Bit of a problem, yes?

I think the bigger point here is how private institutions can just bankrupt whomever they want for whatever reason they want.

At least they will have homes to return to that haven’t been destroyed by the invading Ukrainian military when they get the cash to finally go home.
