WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WWSB) - A Winter Haven woman was arrested after police say she attacked a woman who had suffered a flat tire, in her driveway.
Police say the victim and her 15-year-old daughter were driving down Lake Hamilton Dr. W on Tuesday around 8:20 p.m. when she had a blowout to her right passenger tire. She pulled into a driveway to get out of the 2-lane roadway to safely change her tire. As she completed changing the tire, the homeowner, Diana Pearsall, arrived to find the victim in the driveway.
That’s when officials say Pearsall jumped out of her vehicle and began screaming at them to leave. The victim got into her vehicle and Pearsall approached the driver’s side and reached into the car punching the victim in the face. Pearsall then went to her vehicle and backed up hitting our victim’s vehicle as she was attempting to back out of the driveway.
The victim then went to another driveway and called 911.
Pearson was charged with one count of Burglary (she entered the vehicle) with Assault/Battery. She was booked into the Polk County Jail where she remains with $15,000 bond.

I was looking at a property in that area, reasonably priced.
I live 1500+ miles away, and even I know to avoid Winterhaven.
Rule #1: Never use an Irish woman’s driveway...
Going ape# seems to be the entire dem party..Every little thing sends them into a frenzy and don’t even mention Trump
More like king louie.
You’d expect correctly. She’s a 60 year old black woman.
Haha. If I saw someone changing a tire in my driveway and I was home, I might not ask them if they needed help or even say anything to them. I’m really suspicious of people but I don’t want to make a stupid mistake and antagonize someone who’s already having a problem; I would just watch them and record them through the security monitor if possible. (I know this is what I would do because it’s happened and Mr K, if he’s home, always gets really wound up. Sometimes it’s cruds who live around here messing - I know if we were to confront them and one of us got shot, the law enf people would say we were asking for it. Lol. So I always wait and after a short time, almost always, they leave. It helps if I start saying in a loud voice: “GIVE ‘EM ANOTHER TEN MINUTES!” That usually does the trick.)
If I was arriving home and they were in my driveway, that might occasion a few testy words, especially if there was no place to park on the street, but if it seemed they were on the level and just trying to get their tire changed, I would ask them if they had everything under control before going into the house and give them a certain amount of time to leave. And if anyone tried to walk up on me as I was going into my house: Time to warn them that I have a weapon. But if they were being strange or hostile I would just park somewhere else and call the cops. (Note: No one in his right mind would try to change a tire in the driveway here unless he was parked right in front of the porch. If I saw anyone trying to do that I would instantly be highly suspicious.)
Even in Denver when I was SURE that a car parked right behind my house in the alley was somebody selling drugs, I always would give ‘em a certain amount of time to leave before I started to consider ways to get rid of them.
And, wow, following someone to the car and punching them in the face is a really bad idea. If you tell someone to leave and they’re leaving, LET THEM LEAVE.
Wheel of Misfortune
She looks like Maxine Water’s prettier sister!
I was not shocked.
I looked. Yup.
His “Bring a gun to a knife fight” comment sure had a calming effect on the attitudes of the black community.
Touche!
I am hearing that feared and terrible “N word” more often now than in the past. So many stories in the news, MSM even, that involve irrational Negro violence. It creates a mindset among people who are averse to thinking those thoughts and breaks down psychological barriers. And “N” was merely the word Negro with a southern accent. It was banned because it implied disrespect. The substitutions serially tried by the MSM and the pols were serially raised and sank because they all developed those connotations. It has to do with attitudes and observation of real life actions, not the inherent evilness of the word.
She does look like Maxine lol. Same expression too.
She had to get out of traffic to change a flat. It wasn’t like she was doing a maintenance oil change. The reaction was out of control. Her mistake was chosing the wrong driveway.
Wow. Well it sounds like you know the general mindset of the locals there.
I have a close friend who is black. She said the N word doesn’t bother her. But, the B word. Say that - and she’ll be throwing hands lol
I understand her dilemma and wouldn’t have reacted that way; I’m questioning the legality of the reaction (not the sanity).
I have never understood why black people do not like the word negro, it mean black in spanish.
