Alec Baldwin blames late Halyna Hutchins in fatal ‘Rust’ shooting: new docs

Alec Baldwin filed legal papers Friday denying any responsibility for shooting dead Halyna Hutchins — even blaming the late cinematographer for giving him the directions that led to the deadly accident.

The 63-year-old actor insisted that every single mistake leading to the Oct. 21 shooting on the New Mexico set of “Rust” was “performed by someone else.”

His filing Friday also revealed that Baldwin made an “exhaustive effort” to get the crew back together to finish the doomed movie even after a flurry of lawsuits blamed him for mom-of-one Hutchins’ death.

No one has ruled out Baldwin fired multiple shots, and other stories plainly state he made a surprise draw-fire! during the fatal rehearsal, “I guess I’m gonna take this out, pull it, and go, ‘Bang!’”, pointing the revolver directly at Hutchins.

Working film actors have to be, must be, insurable. And that is the one thing Shooter will never be again…if you don't carry both insurance on your leads, and an umbrella for the film as a whole, you're making TikTok videos.

Initially Halyna’s dad Anatoly Androsovych said the family didn’t blame anyone....since that remark Baldwin has not stopped talking shite.

When I first heard of this, I thought that Baldwin would have to live with the guilt of his careless action forever. I almost felt sympathy for him.

Every single thing he has done since then seems calculated to give the perception that he’s a self-absorbed swine who doesn’t deserve even the tiniest hint of sympathy or leniency.

Hopefully he’ll do prison time as well as losing all the lawsuits.

And at the end of a long day of posturing he’s still responsible and will be held accountable maybe not in criminal court, I wouldn’t rule it out, just think Juicy Smolee, the famous French/American actor, but he will be owned just like OJ is owned by Fred Goldman due to civil court. I do believe we will see an opus just like Juicy’s as he’s being perp walked back to the booking suite.
